I can't even comprehend a trillion, my head hurts trying to go past that. And hell, I get excited just to see a couple hundred dollars. I can't imagine anybody possessing that much money and knowing what to do with it, I never understood why people want more than enough. Isn't having enough, enough?

There will be a new number term introduced.

It will be the 'taxpayerilion'.

Do you suppose that even mathematicians stop at some point because it would involve moving into higher dimensions to expand on the ^9? Like the Mayan Calendar, at some point you just have to stop? This could open the next level of our shared existence, I can sense the expanding Universe even as we discuss this topic.

Hello Antar! Everyone I asked, didnt have the answer.
But I have a question for you about what is higher than 9?

Well logicall yes 10 is higher than 9 but the symbol of 9 is the highest number in our system. There is no number larger than 9 right?
In essence do you follow what I am saying?

and alot of these numbers are hard for people to even fathom.
When I was getting into my studies on astrophysics I had a really hard time with the number system.. And the human logic blocked me from really getting anywhere..

Carl Sagan was one of those kind of guys who could explain these things so most people could understand them..

Big numbers? little numbers.. It goes back to my saying about this unvierse.
Its a very big place contained in a very small space.
Same with big big numbers.
They are all contained within the 1-9 system!

So large yet so small.. A logical parameter that holds us all hostage!

Thinking of higher numbers causes us to expand our thinking/consciousness to higher dimensions? I'm not sure where you got that from, all you are doing when thinking of a higher number is giving it a name. Once we understood the concept of numbers and infinity we can have a name for every single number any human is capable of thinking of, it doesn't mean anything about higher dimensions...

No, I do not, I was told by a Prof in College that I do not think logically and that is why I have trouble with numbers. So to me 0 would be the highest number. Without it we would be resigned to stay under 10. To repeat the endless loop, kind of like reincarnation. Plus it has a resonance which no other number has, like Om, or the circle which represents God or infinite alpha and omega.

There goes that word again. So with a mind like yours how to take the logic and complexity away from the equation and find the infinite through the unexplained levels we have yet to comprehend.

So do you see what I mean about the glazed over look you get from people when you intentionally introduce something which they never even conceived a thought about before? This is raising consciousness by numbers. it will only work for a short time because of the cosmic consciousness, the thread that runs through us all.

When Governments and institutions go after a Buddha or a Christ or a Socrates, it is always because it only takes one enlightened being to change the entire gestalt of a society. To awaken individuals to the next step in awareness. Not everything they say is dangerous, no but somewhere even between the words or in the absence of the message can be the most dangerous of problems that the illuminated ones the elitists see as potential to their demise. Only in ignorance can people be controlled.

So an experiment like this does change consciousness. It raises it.

I've always been confused about our base ten system, with 9 being the highest number with zeros only acting as place holders.

If I take all my clothes off, I can count to eleven.

I am not asking for the 'pat' answer, what is the highest number you personally know? Before this thread I did not know more than a trillion for sure, and never knew anyone personally that did either without a doubt.

A few years ago I started the rumor of a Gazillion being the next number so when you ask 5 random people, what is their answer? I am not talking about mathematicians, just ordinary people? Talk about a revolution, now if we pull this thread up in say 1 years time and do it again if I am correct, more people will have the correct answer. That is how consciousness is raised.

"Aleph null" is the smallest infinite number that comes to mind but of course there are larger ones.
