Bush Delusional on US Economy

After presiding over an Administration that has brought the World closer to a full scale Global Conflict for the first time since the Early 1960's and now a global Financial MELTDOWN, Bush still insists that is is the BEST method!

The fact that Poor people not being able to repay mortgages and loans are being blamed for the start of this is a DISGRACE, it is the SYSTEM that used these people as a fast BUCK and now leaves them out to dry. This is a USA issue that has engulfed the WORLD. In the UK they say when America sneezes the British catches a Cold. As a Superpower the US must accept responsibility, but of course that is one thing they NEVER have done

With the amount of Military interference and the waging of illegal Wars and occupations you might think that might have a causal effect on the Economy, apperently not!

We had someone doing a thread yesterday, saying he was delusional during his speech at un.

Whatever, if leaders where a representation of your countries consciousness, i think many abroad from usa would say so. He says something about your country whether you want to believe it or not. People still voted for him in 2004, did they not?

They did but did enough? Point is if this does not prove he is back on the sauce then I guess nothing will!

Firstly, the President doesn't write his own speeches, so when he's wrong or off on something it's the fault of the speech-writer. Of course, his delivery is pathetic too, stumbling and tripping over his words, smirking, pausing for far too long, etc. The fact that people are noticing physical symptoms doesn't surprise me at all. He's presided over such a rotten administration, brought so much evil into the world, lied so many times, killed so many people, that it's really no surprise that he's deteriorating. A lot presidents, even relatively good ones, looked like hell when they left office.

That being said, ff he's still sober, well, you wouldn't know it

Why, oh WHY do people keep saying the US citizens voted Bush into office??? We have NEVER done so.

Bush was appointed Prez by the Supreme Court in 2000 amid many election issues in the State of Florida, and in 2004 the Diebold machines (with their opaque code) "voted" Bush in.

Exit polls, which historically are quite close to the actual vote, were statistically IMPOSSIBLE in Ohio, where Kerry was showing a handy lead and then... The machines spoke, and Bush squeaked by.

Unless a statistically IMPOSSIBLE number of people LIED about who they voted for - yeah, right - the Diebold machines are in extreme suspicion.
