The Liberals are on damage control. There is an election coming up and they need to appear that they are doing something about this $100,000,000. I hope it works, but if this wasn't an election year it probably would have been swept under the carpet.

Martin was not elected PM. He took over after the LIb. party FINALLY got rid of Chretien.

The Senate in Canada is more of a figurehead than a political entity. Once it passes parliment, it's pretty much a done deal. It goes to the senate as "a sober second thought" but that's really just a waste of time.

If only people knew what is really going on ! (our case for example)


From government departments going over budget so they can get more next year to getting caught blowin' 100MILL in Ottawa.They now telling us were going to be o.k. because were starting up a new gov.department to protect the honest people that work for the government !

Sounds like another Gun Registry. For those that aren't familiar with that, it was set up to register firearms. It was supposed to cost a few million. It's now over a billion. What a joke.

'O' ya,the gun registry.Heard that they might be scrappin' that now.Plus word is out that they are now scrappin' the polution tests you have to pass to get your licence plate stickers."shhhush,don't tell anyone" !
