While recenetly browsing my holiday snaps of Rome I noticed something strange.

On the Lateranense Obelisk there is a figure i have never seen before in Egyptian hieroglyphs, and it appears several times.

It looks like the face of a man.Anyone seen it before??

Appears 3 times on left hand side.

Appears once on right hand side near the bottom.

Do you know if these are authentic Egyptian obelisks that Chompolian brought to Europe?

It almost loks like a bald monkey.

This one was actually taken to Constantinople 1st by order of Constantine the Great. It was then removed and taken to Rome by his son,Constantin II.

It was carved from red granite during the reign of Tuthmosis 3rd & Tuthmosis the 4th and stands at 32.18 meters,(37 meters with base) and weighs 455 tons.

Is it possible it could be Ramses?
I'll check my Egyptian stuff to see if I find anything about this mystery man.

Coincidentally, he does kinda look like Yul Brynner playing Ramses.

Looks like a human head with a pronounced beard/goatee which appears in my book, Reading Egyptian Art, by Richard R. Wilkinson. The book does not explain this particular hieroglyph, however it might be related to the hieroglyph for "head," tep, which shows a head in profile, also with beard. It could just be an egyptian word which also means "face."

Yeah, I have seen it before. I did some study on Egyptian hieroglyphics. It means.... face

Egypt and hieroglyphics happen to be one of my favorite subjects.

Here is one example:

Yes, the hieroglyphs are authentic. If the face is the face of a god (can't tell on a quick glance and I have to scoot out), then it's the dwarf-god Bes:

Mystery Solved!

Maybe he has been prophesized?
Maybe he is the Anti-Christ?

Won't get fooled again by ETs from Egypt.

There is a doctored version of glyphs showing advanced technology
that shows up every once in awhile.

Anyone see Egyptian glyphs in caves found in western America.
There is a theory of ancient travel reaching Gulf shores.
This might span the Atlantis history.
