I am not really certain how to take this article. Either 55% of Americans are delusional or there really are guardian angels. Of course it does greatly help to make over 150K USD a year to "obtain" a guardian angel. Check it out below.

More than half of all Americans believe they have been helped by a guardian angel in the course of their lives, according to a new poll by the Baylor University Institute for Studies of Religion. In a poll of 1700 respondents, 55% answered affirmatively to the statement, "I was protected from harm by a guardian angel." The responses defied standard class and denominational assumptions about religious belief; the majority held up regardless of denomination, region or education - though the figure was a little lower (37%) among respondents earning more than $150,000 a year.

I would say the reason is, that people earning over 150k a year never get TIME to think about things like that.
When you earn salaries like that all you ever do is think about work and how to make it better etc.
Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, CEO's are workaholics.

Haven't we all had one or more experiences were you think - wow someone must have been watching me and caught me/stopped ... just in time ...

whether you believe it is your own sub-concious, a death relative watching over you or a gardian angel I believe we all have had an experience were we felt that for a moment there someone - something took over control and made sure you lived to tell the story

Really dumb... and quite unfounded. Guardian Angels appear to everyone, it doesn't matter if you have a paper clip and two pieces of lint in your pocket or 150 bajillion dollars in the bank. But considering that Greed is one of the seven deadly sins, I'd have to say the 150 k+ citizens in your study are probably all lying unless those 150 k are being given to some type of charity.

I'm poor, and I have a guradian. So this argument that only rich people have guardians is complete stupidity.

This also addresses the psychology of success. Most people don't know why they are successful when someone else is not. People who get promotions and such, seem to be in the right place at the right time, not that they are smarter or more capable than the next person. They now attribute their success to some other worldly maneuverings.

It comes down to 400 monkeys typing away for 400 million years, one of them will type out the complete works of Shakespeare. Enough people keep trying to make money and get a head, one of them will do it.

I don't know about angels and guardians, if I have one they don't like me very much.

Interesting thought. Can you describe what your guradian angel looks like? Better yet, have a picture? I don't think they appear to everyone or rather anyone. I believe people have a tendency to believe in "whatever" works for them at the "time".

Example, John Smith, falls 3 stories and gets up unscathen. Says "Wow, someone was watching over me today". Another. "I swear this rifle was unloaded before I cycled the action and pulled the trigger, I am so glad nobody was hurt. Thank the angels". Mrs Smith, buys a lotto ticket who is just about to lose her house and who happens to have 8 kids, decides to buy a lotto ticket. She wins 8 million. She says "Thank God". :lol"

I call those three examples PURE luck.

I have yet to see my guardian angel. To be quite honest I don't believe they even exist. I think it comes down to luck and more luck. I have had my share of close mishaps. I am just lucky.

Take care,
