Two law enforcement officials said Tuesday the FBI is looking at potential fraud by mortgage finance giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and insurer American International Group Inc. Additionally, a senior law enforcement official said Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. also is under investigation.

Smoke and mirrors. They are trying to throw the American people off the trail of who is really responsible for this mess.

Is this all smoke and mirrors? I think there is no way anything good can happen, so it probably all is just for show...

Does this mean they may potentially NOT get the money? Can they be turned down now? I don't even know what to think right now.
While the economy is in a meltdown, so is my mind.
