Since age 20 or so I've had this condition that I guess is similar if not the same to stigmata. Whenever I cry I start to bleed from my forehead. I'm a little concerned. I talked to my doctor and did research online and they've never heard of such a thing which is why I am now bringing up stigmata. I honestly don't believe in God so I don't understand how stigmata could be real. So my question to you is do you believe stigmata is real? And also is there any medical illness that could explain it?

thank you.

Seriously. No one? This is a concerning matter.

Hello,

I am no expert or anything and what I am about to say is a parroting of what I heard on a History/Discovery/Science type channel on TV.

It was said that it is known that sometimes under extreme duress or anxiety that a person can bleed through the pores of the face. They were talking about Christ's experience in the garden where he "sweated" blood knowing what was soon to befall him.

You did mention that this happened to you when you cried. I think it's related... physiologically, and not spiritually necessarily.

Best Wishes

Ah, that could be it!
Is there a name for when this happens?

Hi,

I'd put a smiley face there, but since I am new here I don't see where to accomplish that!

I just googled sweating blood and found that the name of it is: hematidrosis.

Best Wishes

So your doctors have seen the "stigmata" and do not know what's going on?
I mean, have you seen specialists, Dermatologists or whoever??

I mean, if every time you cry, you bleed from your forehead...and you are serious..... that's pretty disturbing

Might sound crazy, but what color is the blood? I have heard of this before, but I need just need to ask.

Dark red. What's strange is it completely heals within 24 hours.

Damn. thought we had found the reason. But I don't have any of those other symptoms and the blood never leaves the skin. It all wells up internally and then disappears.

Ragen, you should look up a good hypnotist.
Not just anyone who happens to have an ad in the phone book.
You need to have their education and experience.

Check out the forum at hypnosis.com

The mind can do many strange things to the body.
Some good, some bad, some just strange.

Please elaborate: does the blood form a bubble on your forehead or is it a flat mark? Does any remnant remain--even a slight mark on the skin--or does it all return to normal, with no sign of the incident? Is this painful or uncomfortable?

I apologize for the many questions, but I feel it is necessary to figure this out.

It's a flat blood red mark that does not hurt.

I haven't taken any photos or video. I don't know how to make myself cry but I will try.

Ok, thanks.

Perhaps just carry a phone/video cam or whatever around with you, and get a friend to film it or whatever.

How long has this been happening...years or months....?

Since around May. I think I'm going to get an MRI done. Time to recharge the cell.

Ok, well good luck with it all...

I look forward to being able to see this "miracle" for myself, rather than just a story.

but, i will reserve judgement until i see your "evidence".

thanks, Blup.
