We all have to bind together to make a better future.. Negative sentiment is counter productive. Jesus asks us to Love one another..

Good topic.

I started a topic last year about the same thing(different alias), I think it was called "Why do people need to believe in lies?".

I really do believe that it's an event in your life that starts making you question the reality around you. And it doesn't matter if you are a loner or if you have tons of friends and very likeable. I think there are a lot of people that have come out of the box, but due to fear, go back in the box then try to forget(just like Cypher wanted to forget in The Matrix). I think they do it for fear of being alone, like not ever having a significant other.

Also, the preceived psycosis that others might see in you because you're not acting or being yourself, in their eyes. And you seriously can go crazy because the rabbit hole just gets deeper and deeper. So actually the sheeple need to be there useless you want to ascend to become a Jesus, a Buddha, a Neo or something.

Excellent way of putting it...
the Matrix really puts a lot of this in proper view.

Found an article that does a great job of getting to the heart of these self imposed blinders and deceptions, from the perspective of Plato's Cave & The Matrix

From a developmental angle, i think what most of us crave is the state of mind & being when we were toddlers. Not a worry in the world, where everything and anything is possible. Life appeared more simplistic and fair. Black and white so to speak. But as we learn more and more about how the world really works we see many shades of grey. What i see a lot of sheeple uncomfortable with are the unanswered questions... they will run and cling to whatever answers are readily available without ever taking the time to fully understand what they are supporting... "supporting" as in "you’re either part of the solution or you’re part of the problem." ~Cleaver

Though ironically, that quote is black and white... all or nothing.
