Maybe it's the same guy who promised to not hand the hostages over until after Reagan was elected too.

Just wanted to let you know that you are right, I was not talking about you. And I very well maybe wrong about Iran. I may be wrong about a lot of things. But just like you, I have a right to an opinion. I think it is sad when people have to resort to insults (deadflag) when people dont agree with them. Which happens far too often on this site. It is funny how many people think they are experts on this matter.

I always found it interesting how Iran released the hostages the same day Reagan took office.

What will happen if this country elects another pushover Prez, Obama, aka Carter II?

I dont think you can really trust any government anywhere 100%.Hell you can probably only trust them are 30%. But I would take our government any day over theirs. And I would take our freedoms and way of life too. Of course this is purely an opinion.

For the most part Presidents do what they're told. On Carter's first day on the job he went into a special meeting with some of the "top-dogs." Head of CIA for one if I remember correctly. (Some of the names on the official record have been blacked out.) Anyway, you remember that he came into office promising full disclosure on UFO's? Well, he never really did talk about that topic again, and some people wonder if it was because of that meeting. He came out of the meeting trembling and in tears.

Bush wasnt a "pushover" as you call it and Iran has become more powerful, N Korea has nuke weapons, Russia is not a super power again, and Venuzuela is a big thorn in our side? Bush reminds of that kid in high school who loved to fight but always got his a$$ kicked. Why? Because they werent smart about the fights and the needed to pick and choose their battles. BTW u didnt answer my question on what caused the Iran Hostage Crisis.

I know you and I differ on this, but this ain't freedom bud. We keep more of our people in prison than communist China who has over a billion people. I can't say I would like Iran better, I've never been there. But even if I didn't like it there, which I don't think I would, that doesn't mean that we are really any better in the long run. And we certainly aren't so righteous as to be telling the rest of the world what to do in their own countries. Clean up your own back yard before you go knocking on your neighbor's door.

Totally agree. You could be right or I. The only thing I ask of my fellow Americans is to look at reason. I mean its ok to have an opinion but use reason when coming to that conclusion. We Americans have squandered away our country to what it is now borderline socialist/communist/fascist because people dont use reason. They just soak up what they are told and dont do any research. I used to be one of these people until I got a wake up call to reality in which I wont go into that story. Now I see the big picture. Ron Paul really was a life changer for me.

You are so oblivious, it's astounding. You absolutely just do not get it. America is about to bite the dust because of your guys and you're still sacking Obama on an internet forum.
