Bieng on here, being on call for disaster. i try my plucky-best, I really do, but I am out on a limb here, adn ready to fall. cannot take these for unlawful carnal knowledge-heads who think that they can rape the system and get away with it. but, yes, we need to do something...besides falling and dying in a heap or oh-my-gosh-they-f-us-again.

I told my husband this evening that I think something big is going to happen tommorow, and he is the biggest skeptic I know, but he looked at me and said that he has had a feeling of impending doom for about a week now. I have been having some off the charts crazy dreams this week, I have seen all my deceased relatives in those dreams too, they were all trying to tell me something, but couldn't speak. I do hope that all this is not adding up to an actual event, and I can read this in a day or two and laugh.

Great. Absolutely lovely. I saw my paternal grandmother in a nitemare the other nite as well as passed on aunts and uncles. I attributed to this tripped out antibiotic I was on.
Now. I don't know.

Nothing will happen, too early for that. But all of this talk made me want to eat a lot of chocolate today!

What is up with this mushrooming of speculation of an imminent great event? is it the dollar crisis and people's fear for there jobs, food, bills etc?
Living in the dark is not fun, I just went through Gustav wich was unpleasant at the worst, with 2 hr gas lines, no stores open (the ones that were open had nothing but pop tarts and junk like that), missing 2 weeks of work. As a result I am currently broke. A lifestyle that continues indefinitley like that would certainly cause mass civil unrest. That was just here in Louisiana. Not to mention the much harder time TX is having in the wake of Ike. That kind of scarcity spread over the entire nation would be disasterous or deadly in my opinion.

If I had known about this earlier I would not have shown up for my court date last Monday!

Thanks OP for posting this. After spending hours trying to figure out the economic crisis of the past week it is nice to unwind with a good old-fashioned doomsday prophecy. And we haven't had one of those in a while on here, unless you count CERN's black-hole-generator.

In all seriousness I am very stressed about all this financial stuff. Here I was thinking that we were moving toward fascism, and they flipped the script and made us socialists. Sneaky. Very sneaky of those bankers.

Well, when I get up later today from my sleep, as has been the case for the last 5000000 doomsday predictions, I'll be sure to try and not come here and post I told you so's.

I was watching MadTV last week with an interesting sketch to boot. Cheney's talking dog fetching a bird that he had shot down, told us evil plans were underway by Cheney and gang to nuke major US cities, and the TV show Jericho is a simulation of that event. Then the dog proceeded to bring the bird to his master. Scary.
