McCain becoming president is horrifying, anybody who believes / wants McCain are the very wealthy, big corporations and the stupid. If it happens I will be moving to another country, the future of ths country will be sold on Ebay by Palin.

I think Obama will win, Palin looks more presidential than McCain. McCain looks crusty with the big lump on his face.

1. The last Democrat elected to the Presidency was Bill Clinton, and he ran on a "New Democrat" platform. He fooled people into thinking he was more moderate, and actually a little more conservative than traditional Democrats. Clinton fooled us, but with Obama there is no chance anyone will be fooled. Not with his high liberal ratings in the Senate.
2. The Hillary factor. Hillary supporters feel shunned, and feel they where robbed of the nomination. If just 20% of her voters stay home, and another 20% voting for McCain, this means Obama loses.
3. The Bradley Effect. I feel polls are close because people that are being polled don't want to seem racist so they tell pollsters they are voting for Obama, but on election day they will do the exact opposite.
4. The Vice-President factor. Obama has been campaigning for change, then selects Joe Biden for his VP. Not only did McCain bring in a "change" VP President, but he poured salt into the wound of disenfranchised Hillary voters, by selecting a woman for VP.
5. The long election season. Primaries started earlier than ever this year. Obama started out fast, and the novelty is wearing off over time. He peaked way to early.
6. Youth vote. Every election the Democrats push hard for the youth vote, and every election they let them down.
7. The vocal elite. Hollywood, Rock Stars, College Professors, World Leaders are all very vocal in their support of Obama. Most Americans don't like opinions from these people and their support will backfire. Like Puff Diddy Daddy Sean Combs is going to scare people to vote for Obama (Vote Obama or die).
Exactly he wants to suffer more, he agreed with Bush 90% of the time.

Obama has most of the media at his back (free ads).
Obama has the support of elites of all kinds,
from Hollywood stars to former Fannie Mae CEO's
yet many people think he is for the average American.
I would be very surprised if Obama loses.
Anyone with half a brain should be able to win with the kind of unquestioning support Obama has.
