Flies are able to sense human danger and fly off, and so are difficult to strike and hit it, and so the simple way is to strike the possible escape path and hopefully it will get caught in the swatter and you have the fly to yourself.



They can jump and fly backwards, right?
Their brains and eyes can process and analyse more visual information and if you compared humans to flies in terms of "frames per second" the humble fly would usually come out winning.
