Hmm. But Soviet constitution was also very good. Especially the one that was during Stalin times. The problem is that in Soviet Union constitution was just a piece of paper for "commercial" use. And as far as i see it, under current Russian leadership the same happens with Russian constitution.
Now as for Russia being the enemy - it has nothing to do with constitution, democracy or other values. Saudi Arabia is better then Russia? China is better?
It is economy and politics. Russia can be "better" evil guy then terrorists and more money for military complex that way. This said - i personally have no soft spot for leaders of Russian federation. They drag this country to KGB monarchy. However it is their inner business as long as their do not start wars.
