How can you tell whether someone has lost their temper just by reading what they've written? It's an amazing gift you have there!
Just for the record I haven't lost my temper. Why would I? Two fellow ATS'ers debating over whether or not George W Bush has any brain cells or not. If he does then they should be put on the endangered species list cos there anit too many of them about!

A couple good books you might find interesting is "Where Have All The Leaders Gone" by Lee Iacocca and The End of America by Naomi Wolf.

Respect is earned not a given.

I will and have always respected the OFFICE of the President of these United States... though that doesn't Have to imply that I respect the individual currently holding such... OFFICE.

Bush is an idiot, if he had a high IQ he'd be able to make a complete sentance without help.
Bush has wrecked world peace and now the world economy.
We need to get rid of republicans ruling the world and making it unpleasant for the rest of us.

Remember that written IQ tests are aimed at basic intelligence... as best they can be. Actual numbers don't mean much. What is important is standard deviation from the mean. George was probably above average when he took the test but that was then. He is not the village idiot he pretends to be.
What George lacks is an education, not smarts. His knowledge of all aspects of the world seems to be lacking [sorry, Ivy leaguers, but the school on the diploma doesn't mean much]. George has strong opinions and will not seek advice if it conflicts with his opinion. His attitudes are aligned with the good ol' boy outlook on life. Try to whack my daddy, Saddam? I'll hit you upside the haid! Energy policy? I'll just ask my Bubba pals in the oil industry what I should do. Dick will help out and tell me what they said.
Stubborn? Poster child.
Rule bending? Yep.
Arrogant? Certainly.
Close minded? You bet.
Crafty? Like a fox.
Stupid? No.

After LBJ and W, I have had enough cowboy presidents. We need a Constitutional amendment that says no more presidents can be from Texas until every other state has provided a president.

You obviously missed the one about the soul catcher on the moon.

besides this is not a theory it is a fact. his IQ scores are what they are and can be easily verified.

I would like to physically watch him sit down and take an IQ test NOW....and watch it get scored while I was standing there....

That would prove to me that he had a high IQ.....an SAT result from years ago, when he may or may not have somehow cheated or had his scores altered does not prove anything to me......Maybe he didn't cheat or have help, but nobody can prove he didn't....Just as I can't prove he did.

The world believes we have a simpleton as President and I'm not too sure I disagree with them.

But people who love Bush will always side with him being brilliant and right on with the things he say/does. People who dislike him will never buy that he's practically a genius. I doubt there is ever going to be convincing each other otherwise.

President Bush's IQ is between 125 and 130 which ranks him as more intelligent than over 95% of the population

Wasting your time responding to Grady Philpott. Just research his previous posts and you'll see why. Regardless of his IQ, his common sense seems to be lacking. IQ tests measure basic knowledge- essentially book learning. While that is nice and essential in it's own way, it does not measure common sense or morality. His economics are basically pro-rich and to hell with everyone else. Totally "trickle down" economics which is basically the middle class and poor getting what crumbs fall off the richs' table. He is a fervent supporter of so-called "free market capitolism" which only benefits large corporations and their overseas partners. Thanks so much Ronald Reagan for starting that crap... To someone like Grady, universal health care, social security, etc is socialism but bailing out the rich asses that caused and benefited from this Wall Street nightmare is just good economics. Deregulation he cries!! Lack of regulation is what caused the Great Depression. Regulation seperating the banking and mortgage industries implemented by FDR has kept the market safe until asshats like Phil Gramm and Greenspan had their way. Grady's likely reply would be attacking my "vulgarity" and assaulting a point or two but he does not have the courage or patriotism to admit that he and the Republican platform have been horribly wrong since Reagan. Please Grady- tell me and the others viewing this post how we are better off now than 7 years ago. "asshat" comment aside so no berating and wasting of time for that. It's nice that you're older than most here and have a better vocabulary than most here and a higher IQ but blah blah blah. My wife has a 95 year old grandpa who summed it up quite simply. "we poor folk have always done well when a democrat was in office and suffered when a republican was in." He went on to say that when he was younger that his family would save as much as they could during a democrat adminstration so they could weather a republican administration. Boiled down nice and simple. I have to wonder if you're making over 250k a year and lacking in decency or making less and just lacking in common sense. Waste of time.
