I'M BACK!!!! I seem to have developed severe insomnia this last week, I'm so stressed.....and tired. I need a good nights sleep and this is a great place to get it. Not to mention that according to an ATS thread that I read today, there is a FEMA Prison Camp being set up about 20 minutes from my house, so I'm going to hide out for awhile. I'm taking my blanket and sleeping under the stars, shhhhhhhh....quiet. And if anyone from "FEMA" comes looking for me, well, you know what to do! CA, maybe they are onto our little koala rescue. Speaking of which, I hid four of them in the back room at DATS.

And BTW, CA, (hugs) what beautiful scenery you have there. Great pics!

Ah, Orange my dear that is the beauty of it all. No rushing around at a fast pace, no looking at the time, no deadlines. Just rest and relaxation.
Perfect for recharging ones drained batteries.

Perhaps I need to organize a game or treasure hunt....

I am jealous of the Ca now.......
Those are some very breathtaking photos of the Canadien Rockies.
Hugs to the Carrot and hope you get to feeling better Rush.

This picture that I took last year is of the railroad bridge at Hawks Nest State Park just outside of the small mountain town of Ansted, West Virginia. When I took the shot, I was standing about 800 - 850 feet above the canyon floor. The curve of the railroad track at the left side of the photo is The Sharpest Curve on the Entire CSX Transportation System. The maximum allowable speed limit on that curve is ten (10) miles per hour.

Well hey Neph! Welcome!
By all means everyone can take a turn in the kitchen.
I'm gonna get this fire goin' and go out & chop some more wood.
I notice most of the men left when we ran out of booze.
Typical.:shk:

Well, I just woke up and had myself some Yogurt and Granola and Cappuccino

Thanks Gimmee
THe Rockies really are beautiful however i think i take them for granted sometimes...The last time I Went home to visit le famille, some of the trees were already starting to turn orange - it was beautiful. The trees on campus are turning red - I've never seen red before - its also beautiful. Perhpas today, on my way to the library - ill get some pictures of the lovely red leaves

we'll save some cheesecake for you
than you can have a piece in the afternoon

why do people eat cake only in the afternoon and drink booze in the evening?

Before my "lets get healthy" days, back when i was in my first year of college, I would eat whatever i wanted, whenever i wanted. that's also how i gained 30lbs over the course of the year. LOL.

Ice Cream (before i became lactose intolerant) - for breakfast
Pizza (when i ate meat) - for beakfast/lunch/dinner with an ice cold beer
Cheesecake (before the LI.) - brekfast usually, or at 3am, after smoking funnys stuff.
Beer/vodka/whatever was on sale - whenever, usually after class...once at lunch because in the cafeteria they had "buy a beer for breast cancer day" so, because i support breast cancer research I HAD to have a few beer at lunch....BEFORE my last class of the day...

Its a good thing i'm lactose intolerant, it keeps me from eating certain foods. I can usually handle one serving of dairy - Yogurt is usually it for me - i can't sacrafice THAT. I cannot STAND soy yogurt.

I can handle a piece of Cheesecake, a small piece, and only one. I'll stick that in the fridge and much on it later
Thanks Orange!!

OH my gosh!
The holiday season is here, and I have not yet decorated the cabin!
HELP PLEASE?!
I need to stock the place with firewood, tasty treats, and drinks, and we need to go chop down a tree to decorate!
Any and all friends and family are welcome and bring whomever you like with you. The more the merrier.
I'm off to buy gifts so please come sit by the fire and make yourself at home.

OOPS!!!

I knew I forgot to post something that was really important!!

Sorry for the wait Ms. Rush. Here are The Eagles like you requested.
This is a song that we learned from a fellow named Steve Young, who lived in San Diego. This is called Seven Bridges Road. I hope you like this.
