According to media reports space scientists are preparing India's maiden moon odyssey, the government today approved another lunar mission which entails landing a rover on the earth's natural satellite.

There is no such thing as the 'Dark Side of the Moon'.

The correct term is 'Farside'.

It is the bit of the hemisphere that never presents its face, to us here on this planet.

However, the Chinese will get there first, way before the Indians.

AND, any attempt to go to the Moon must first be prefaced with many test space missions, in LEO, to learn about and test equipment. Even smart people like the Indians won't just willy-nilly launch to the Moon, without verifying hardware and procedures!!

It's scary, though.....if the Indians establish a call-center on the Moon....it will be even more difficult to get tech-support....with a time-lag, no less!

LMFAO......that was funny......call centre on the moon....they will probably need it when the credit crumch really kicks in and all those support calls come in.....
