No, it doesn't. There is plenty in the article that reflects the point of view of the believers.
There is a napkin that matches the shroud face in Spain that came from Christ, also.
The article is about the Shroud, not Veronica's Veil.
There is no mention of the plastic-forming bacteria that has coated the shroud fibers, either, changing the date of the shroud.
The studies of the pollens and images on the shroud of specific plants only found in and around Jerusalem are not mentioned.
Plastic forming bacteria, no; I found no evidence about that in the sources I used. The pollen, yes; it is mentioned specifically.
