I hate friggin' debates..... it is all too
Structured & Scripted..... I much prefer
flying the trapeze without a net. Great radio and
debates come more from doing a
point/counterpoint scenario than simply reading something that someone took a day or so to write, edit and then
stand up at a podium and read.
My suggestion is that when it is set-up..... we simply start talking about it.... banter back and forth..... feed off of each other's energy and
points.... come back with our own points..... and beat the crap out of it until we are both satisfied we have said what we wanted to say. That is why
I told you initially...... I don't need a topic. I can talk about anything if I at least know the subject matter and a little background.
A
LIVE back and forth exchange is the only way to go. I will only participate if all the crib notes, cliff notes, TelePrompTers and cue cards
are in the crapper. You, Me..... LIVE. End of story.
