sold my ps2 only had about 15 ps2 games.

I have like 60 some games. I can't name 'em all have to many. Probaly more than 60.

and I thought I had lots.

now I feel more secure knowing that im not the only one with hundreds of dollars worth of games

I have a FREAKING LOAD of games, my bro had a billion games for the APPLE II lol, he had the bitchen APPLE IIE or whatever, the small one lol dig dug and mrs pac man kicked, i could play dig dug before i could talk lol

My collection starts from DOOMII and X-wing, i have around 75 purchased game cd's and i have gone through a hundred more downloaded from P2P networks.

I don't do consoles, but i did have a commadore 64 for a bit lol.

Umm altogher from like the first nintendo to the current stuff probly hundreds a far estimate is 200+ lol.

I mean have tons for nintendo and all the old systems
bout 30 for ps
bout 30 for ps2
5 for gamecube
and bout 20+ pc games

Now...the REAL question....did you guys REALLY spend all that cash on em? or just download em?...tell da truth.

Maybe a few games I have purchased after downloading the full version, because of multiplay purposes. There has been A LOT of games I thought would be cool to buy, but after downloading the full game and finding out they totally suck, I cherrish the money in my pocket for other things i can waste it on lol

I don't do a lot of gaming these days, but I used to.
When I had my old Playstation, I had 200+ games (about 70 were legal bought ones, lol).
I have a PS2 now, but only have 12 games.
For the PC... I have about 20, not many... I mainly play Real Time Strategies like Command and Conquer, Age Of Empires, etc.

For the Sega MegaDrive I had about 100+ games (all legal obviously).

If I go back even furthor, for the old Commedore 64, I had about 200+ games - mainly the tape ones. I had about 20 cartridge ones too.

The only games I play now, are Command and Conquer, Age Of Empries and Pro Evolution Soccer 3, lol. Oh and the occasional game on Simpsons Hit and Run. Not much of a gamer anymore at all.

Damn I have 96 game cd roms (not including multipart disc of the same game) that I could find, this is from these 4 cases I have to hold them, which can also be used for an ashtray, a table and a weapon. I know there is a bunch of jewel cases in my closet but really dont want to dig through them it's mostly empty cases and music.

too bad I can't trade these in at gamestop like a ps2 game

I mean who would buy Star Control 3 for DOS? It's a goodie, but an oldie!

I have about 12 games for PS2...10 games for PS1...10 games for Gamecube (All of which rock!)...8 games for XBOX...and about 28 games for NES...and a buttload of PC games...I'm loaded...

I wonder why some people diss the gamecube, I played it before and thought it was pretty sweet.

Lol consoles seem to be aimed at kiddies a bit more, but I prefer them to PC ROM games.

Even though, I am a computer nerd and build PCs - I still think it's much more fidly playing games on a PC. You have to keep upgrading certain parts as newer games come out (and those parts are not cheap). Also all the compatability issues - is there a video card that will play every single modern game out there? I haven't found one.
I just find it much easier for a quick game, to just open a lid - pop in a CD and get going.

I must admit though, I like playing multiplayer LAN games of Command and Conquer! Nothing beats a good LAN game. But with the PS2 (and XBox maybe - not ever used a XBox - wouldn't want to: Microsoft! Grr) having a network adapter, network console games may overtake PC LANs - who knows.

I mean, is it possible to use the PS2 like PC LANs? I don't have a network adapter in my PS2, so I haven't tried it. Could you hook up say 3 PS2s to a router/hub/switch (with 3 different screens obviously) and play a local 'LAN' game?

I used to be a game maniac. Must have over 50 different games, I've throwed away a lots of old games.

Recently bought a 60-cds suitcase, thought I would be okay for a while, but I filled it all on the first day, and had to throw some away, and keep some in regular cd case.

Never paid for a game. Entertainement should be free.

I trade them in for credit when I know that I am never going to play them again. Actually, I just went to EB Games yesterday and traded in to get X Files: Resist or Serve and Final Fantasy Tactics.

Did this series ever get any better? I played the first two, but got bored of the second one as it was just a rehash of the first.
