The purpose of the LHC is to create a massive energy discharge that will attract any and all alien species within the galaxy to Earth coordinates. The reason for this project is unknown even by my contact, but it is speculated that the energy display is standard operating procedure for young civilizations to announce that they are ready for alien contact for purposes of boosting technological evolution.

This will happen soon, sometime in mid-October.

LOL oh come on, what a load of bollocks, for the 10000000000th time LHC is just a controlled experient for what nature and natural forces do every day billions of times over. you could at least try to add abit more style before you make another insane accusation with little or no thought.

I was not aware that nature built billions of LHC's a day and carried out experiments. That is INSANE! Wow!

The point is that the point in which natural collisions happen vary greatly. The point is that the LHC is in a fixed position.

When new planets, worlds, universes and galaxies are forming all the time why does the LHC's energy discharge act as a lighthouse? wouldn't this register just a tiny bit short? it was built for controlled atom experiments was it not? and thats what its doing.

I think your theory has some major flaws.

bring on mid october!

Nope....the Earth's movement, the solar system's movement, and the galaxy's movement renders nothing in a "fixed" position.

The location of the collision is just as randomly "placed" as any natural collision.

Yeah, they are successful because they are unique. Revolving beacons do not naturally occur on Earth's rocky shores.

oh dear, were scraping the barrel now arent we? immaturity is showing. come on then, what makes you the one to share this information with us, why arent you going to the headlines spreading your words in protest...why are you ranting on an internet forum about what your friends told you. sounds like you got bored. infact, im bored here > moving on >>>>>

Massive energy discharges don't constantly happen in the same spot naturally on Earth.

Im assuming you dont work at CERN, how do i know this? because you bought the cover story ..... little tip dont believe everything you read in the press conferences and the media
there are sources out there that are watching with interest exactly what is occuring down at Geneva or should I say what will occur, although when it does rest assured it wont be front page news

btw this is pure speculation on my part , dont believe a word of it

Anyone familiar with Einstein knows that, but it doesn't apply to the LHC because it is in a relatively fixed position. It's not moving around the surface of the Earth unless you want to pull continental drift out of the same place you pulled that garbage out of.

You obviously haven't even comprehended what I wrote because you are projecting your own alien operational procedures into this, and it's just not compatible with what is happening.

You seem to be suggesting that it is impossible to track the orbit of distant planets, or the movement of stars and to be able conclude that an energy discharge is indeed coming from a single planet, orbiting a single star.

You would be wrong.

I understand and can appreciate what it is you are saying in the OP, and I can easily see this as a possibility, however likely or unlikely that may be. However, it does raise a couple of questions that I would like to ask:

Being that high energy colliders such as the Tevatron at Fermilab, CERN's LEP, Germany's HERA, and the Pep-II project in Palo Alto, have been in use for several years, one can logically assume that there must have been similar communication in the recent past. Why, then, have we not had more definitive evidence for extraterrestrial life?

What implications does the recent announcement of a Super Large Hadron Collider have regarding your statements?

There is no question that we will continue to harness more and more energy. The question is at what point will our energy output attract an alien species, if any exists. It's only at a certain energy level that a certain contact would occur. If it has been decided that the energy requirements are those that can identify the particle that gives mass, then so be it.

What wonderful information. Thank you for contributing to the thread! I value your input.

Contact was about Earth people receiving instructions for some type of space ship. What does that have to do with aliens visiting earth? The LHC? Energy output?

The other poster who mentioned Star Trek was a lot closer than you are.

From what I understand, one of the experiments that will be conducted at the LHC is one to produce the hypothetical Higgs boson. Confirmation of the existence of an all pervasive particle would in essence bring us closer to a complete understanding of the laws of physics, producing the Grand Unified Field Theory.

However, the energy discharges would not be the main cause to bring the attention of advanced ETs rather, the knowledge we gain about our present reality (Unified Field theory) would herald a new frontier for the Human race, making us a galactic species. A baby that learned to walk for the first time, the whole family cheering with joy as they watched the baby take the first steps to freedom.

Soon enough we will be running, driving, flying. Only natural.

You treat me like the idiot?
You come to these boards, with claims of grandeur, just like hundreds before you- Expecting us to believe it, when you offer up no proof.
None.
None, at all.

Congradulations- It must have taken you all day to have thought up such a clever post.

Credibility- Who needs it anyways?

My time on ats has been limited what does DARPA and LHC stand for. Your msg seems to be filled with a sense of urgency but really dosn't' say alot. Can you be more elaborate onwho your source is what's up

DARPA: www.darpa.mil...
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is the central research and development organization for the Department of Defense (DoD).

LHC (Large Hadron Collider): lhc.web.cern.ch...
The world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator complex, intended to collide opposing beams of protons (one of several types of hadrons) with very high kinetic energy.

I just googled and wiki'd those, although I have a passing familiarity with both. Google is your friend

I'm certainly no expert, not even close...I just find this thread kind of interesting.

What wonderful information. Thank you for contributing to the thread! I value your input. I hope we can communicate again in the near future when you have overcome your arrogance.

I've told the message that I was given. That is the only proof I have. What do you expect me to do? Write you a book? Give it to the local News and tape the broadcast and upload it to the internet for you? Seriously, you are some type of egomaniac who wants wants wants. If you don't believe what he gave me, you don't have to post in this thread. The only think keeping you here is your inflated ego.

Yours truly,
logician magician.

You state that you received this message from an unnamed trustworthy source, yet if he is unnamed, how do you know that he/she is trustworthy? You have no clue who it is?

You claim that you are being told by this person that:

The purpose of the LHC is to create a massive energy discharge that will attract any and all alien species within the galaxy to Earth coordinates. The reason for this project is unknown even by my contact, but it is speculated that the energy display is standard operating procedure for young civilizations to announce that they are ready for alien contact for purposes of boosting technological evolution.

That is a very bold claim for anyone, even well known scientists, to make. You, who claim to have just been informed of this from some “unnamed” person, are very quick to begin defending this claim as if it were your own, with your very own claims, as if you are the “specialist” in this particular claim.

Further on you claim:

We don't "know" to do this procedure, it is inevitable that all intelligent species experiment with the manipulation of energy on larger and larger scales. Once a critical limit has been reached, those members of the galactic political body have agreed to make contact in one form or another.

The way you say this, it sounds like you are now the expert on the subject, as if this information is out there as know fact. I assume that this was also told to you by your “unnamed trustworthy source”.

This whole scenario also contradicts itself quite thoroughly.

… procedure for young civilizations to announce that they are ready for alien contact …

In knowing that this procedure is what is needed to make alien contact, means that an alien contact had to have informed you of said procedure, which clearly concludes that contact has already been made, and that there is clearly no reason to have to make further contact.

You also pretty much admit that this is not even a claim, but is simply speculation.

… but it is speculated that the energy display is standard operating procedure…

So all in all, there is no proof, and you have already stated that. This whole thread is based purely on speculation

Until there is proof, and not simply speculation, I believe you should not be so bold as to make such claims as being fact.

Sincerely,
xmaddness

Interesting synopsis. Especially considering the Large Hadron Collider started prep-work on September the 10'th and then there's this
www.ufodigest.com...
article of a predicted mass UFO sightings on the 14'th of October and that the LHC will actually start it's collisions a week later on the 21'st of October. The OP info fits right in. Kinda all makes one go "Hmmm..."

Forget the movie Contact, y'all are missing the mark.

This was a subject of a book, "Einstein's Bridge", by John Cramer. Cut and pasted for your viewing pleasure:

"Arriving too late for a full review, physicist-author Cramer's latest hard science fiction yarn (Twistor, 1989) begins in an alternate ``bubble'' universe where the Superconducting Super Collider (SSC) project didn't collapse through lack of funding in the 1990s. Instead, in 2004, the search for the elusive Higgs boson begins--but the operation of the SSC inadvertently sends a signal into another bubble universe, this inhabited by the malignant and utterly ruthless Hive, who colonize new universes by completely obliterating the competition. Fortunately, the benevolent Makers also receive the signal and send a message back alerting Earth to the danger. Cramer splendidly demonstrates just how fascinating and mind- boggling real science can be, and shows exactly how vulnerable basic research is to political whim."

I read it several years ago and it's a great read - basically the "hive" seeks energies produced by the collisions and assembles nanites (or nanobots, take your pick) one particle at a time and sends transports them to the target universe via an Einstein-Rosen bridge "bridgehead".

Good stuff.
