I began crossfit in October of 2007. I was a paramedic/ rescue tech and hurt my back. I gained a lot of weight because I could no longer run distances
great than 3 miles. Before my injury I ran 5-8 miles per day.
To date, I have lost 36lbs using crossfit/rossboxing, dropped 6% body fat, and raised my hdl from 48 to 67. And I feel more functionally fit.
I also use HIIT/tabata cardio, which crossfit utilizes. So, keep on using CF. Just stay hydrated and go at your own pace.
