Through a glass, very darkly Cops, spies and a very odd investigation

The case is almost seven years old now, but matters surrounding a mysterious group known as the Finders keep growing curiouser and curiouser.

In early February 1987, an anonymous tipster in Tallahasse, Fla, made a phone call to police. Two "well dressed men" seemed to be "supervising" six dishevelled and hungry children in a local park, the caller said. The cops went after the case like bloodhounds, at least at first. The two men were identified as members of the Finders. They were charged with child abuse in Florida. In Washington, D.C. police and U.S. Customs Service agents raided a duplex apartment building and a warehouse connected to the group. Among the evidence seized - detailed instructions on obtaining children for unknown purposes and several photographs of nude children.

According to a Customs Service memorandum obtained by U.S. News, one photo appeared "to accent the child's genitals". The more the police learned about the Finders, the more bizarre they seemed: There were suggestions of child abuse, Satanism, dealing in pornography and ritualistic animal slaughter.

None of the allegations was ever proved, however. The child abuse charges against the two men in Tallahassee were dropped; all six of the children were eventually returned to their mothers, though in the case of two, conditions were attached by a court. In Washington, D.C. police began backing away from the Finders investigation. The groups practices, the police said, were eccentric - not illegal.

isnt it strange Ocelot that the D.C police backed off the finders and found them to be only eccentric...?

im of a age when i remember that in the late 80's and early 90's there was a lot of debunking about the fact that there was no satanic cults involved in any of theese child abductions and it was all just rumors...

i have always doubted that as i have personally had run ins with satanists and with the help of others ran them out of my home town....and ive had trouble follow me ever since !!!
Im telling you man this garbage gos right to the highest levels and the energy given off by the sacrafice of children and thru using them in certain sexual ritual practices is of high value to theese people....just do some studying of Alister Crowley and youll see why theese children are so coveted by theese creatures!!!

i don't like this thread, not because it's bad, it just really bothers me because i work with at risk kids and i have children of my own.
something i'm starting to look into is dhs and foster parents, there seems to be some unbelieveable stuff going on here, check my link on my signature mikehuckabee.
outside of children how many people simply vanish every year? i have heard 250 thousand but damn that's a lot people.

I know this thread and its subject matter may make some of you uncomfortable. Hell it even makes me uncomfortable. But this is something we need to talk about and get in the open.

Ive been doing some research on this after a member mentioned this possible angle. Satanic Ritual Abuse in children is something that happens all too often. It may not account for all the child abductions but it certainly may be a factor. This is one of the most important issues that warrants further discussion. Not only here on ATS but in the media in general. But the media wont touch this story with a 10ft pole.

why isn't this being reported by the news outlets, i'm sure it has some deep roots because someone sure does a damn good job of keeping it hush hush

Theese people you mention in your article that belonged to this group if you were to track there steps i think you would be quite surprised or may be not....where they led to...maybe right to the highest levels of government......

Ive read about these so called rituals performed by people in power. Bohemian Grove comes to mind. I think there is something to the whole government involvement angle you presented. That would explain why the media wont even touch this story in the first place.

Exactly. But for what purpose I wonder. I've seen many theories presented on this thread and certainly some of them may explain why everything is being kept so quiet. Possible government involment? Federal agencies may be complicit (CIA,FBI, etc...)

yup ...i think the truth is stranger than fiction here and time may prove that to be true...there are just to many things like the debunking of the satanic ritual thing to distraction of the public on a similiar but less sinister aspect of what is going on right up to the media's avoidance of what might really be happening to all theese people and children !!!!!

i personally believe this thing is so sinister im even lack to put it all into words because it just sounds so insane!!!!

perhaps they were not the ones to use that phrase first, but i did enjoy how they put it into song...anyway, this is for those that subscribe to the theory of covert alien control...it does involve the satanic ritual child sex abuse, child sex trafficking rings, and sacrifices by the reptilians and draconians .

While doing some more reading I found this article that mentions people being kidnapped to be used in the project.

In order to explore the worlds beyond the time tunnels, the Montauk researchers kidnapped large numbers of the homeless as guinea pigs. They would spend some time (about a week) getting them ready for the trip and then send them though. If they returned, they were expected to make a full report of what they saw. Unfortunately many didn't. This was why the project used the homeless, since they knew no one would notice if these sorts of people went missing.

The project also used a large number of children in these experiments. These children were exclusively male, between the ages of 10 and 16, tall, blond, blue eyed and fair-skinned. Most (if not all) fit the idea of the Aryan stereotype. The exact purpose of these children is unknown, although all of them were initially sent to the year 6037 AD to investigate a ruined city. There, they had to examine the statue of a horse and report back on what they saw. After that, the children were sent of on others missions, but it is unknown if any ever returned. It was later discovered that the project was connected with some sort of NeoNazi organization and that the children were recruited to serve this group.

North Korean Intelligence Abducting children to be trained to be intelligence operatives. This is beyond disturbing if true.

I think there is some truth too it. Its one of the theories ive been thinking about for a while.

Im going to follow up on this and see what I can find.
