is a sum of claims of all the security-holders: debtholders, preferred shareholders, minority shareholders, common equity holders, and others.
Enterprise value is one of the fundamental metrics used in business valuation, financial modeling, accounting, portfolio analysis, etc.

JP Morgan Chase [JPM ticker] (EV) -$57,000,000,000 in the hole
GS Goldman Sachs [GS ticker] (EV) -$473,000,000,000 in the hole
Morgan Stanley [MS ticker] (EV) -$399,000,000,000 in the hole

Well I am not a stock expert but my buddy is an advisor and he showed me these numbers. Can someone please confirm that these companies are in deep
