Enterprise value (EV), Total enterprise value (TEV), or Firm value (FV) is an economic measure reflecting the market value of the whole business. It is a sum of claims of all the security-holders: debtholders, preferred shareholders, minority shareholders, common equity holders, and others. Enterprise value is one of the fundamental metrics used in business valuation, financial modeling, accounting, portfolio analysis, etc.

Here goes....

Lehman Brothers [LEH ticker] (EV) -$161,000,000,000 in the hole

JP Morgan Chase [JPM ticker] (EV) -$57,000,000,000 in the hole

GS Goldman Sachs [GS ticker] (EV) -$473,000,000,000 in the hole

Morgan Stanley [MS ticker] (EV) -$399,000,000,000 in the hole

Merrill Lynch [MER ticker] (EV) -$90,000,000,000 in the hole

Nomora Holdings [NMR ticker] (EV) -$18,000,000,000 in the hole

Well I am not a stock expert but my buddy is an advisor and he showed me these numbers. Can someone please confirm that these companies are in deep S#IT??? How many other companies are looking like this? I mean this looks very serious? Anyone?
