One nerdy computer programmer provides all the moral outrage that a self important socialist UK rag like the Independant could feast on.

Meanwhile, as the journalistic idiots commence a mutual hand wringing session over the pubescent fun of a spotty teenager, the peace loving Muslim community continues to openly sell videos promoting Jihad and martyrdom.

Number of Muslims beheaded by Christians - 0
Number of Muslim commuters murdered by Christian fanatics - 0
Number of Muslim newspapers criticising anti-Christian behavior - 0

Christians - we're such an evil people.

Here's your real conspiracy, but you'd rather talk about chemtrails and hoax moon landings.

You sir, are an example of what I was talking about. You don't know your own religion's teachings. Islamic apologists argue that these writings are not inspired parts of Islam, because if they are, these writings expose Islam and Muhammed for what they really are. Ishaq's Sira, or biography, called Sirat Rasul Allah provides the lone account of Muhammed's life and the formation of Islam written about 200 years after Muhammed's life ended. The deeds, characterization, and message are antithetical to Yahshua and His disciples as any reader can easily discern. Without the Sira, nothing is known about Muhamed so the Qur'an can't possibly be followed. The Qur'an orders Muslims to follow the example of Muhammed, and obey his orders. Since the Qur'an is supposed to be Allah the moon-god speaking, the only place one can find examples of Muhammed is in the Hadith (oral reports of Muhammed's companions) collections of Ishaq, Tabari, and Bukhari. The Qur'an has no context and chronology, so one cannot understand the Qur'an withoug the chronology and context provided by the other books. The ta'rikh is the oldest, most trusted and thorough history of Islam's formation and listing of Muhammed's example, and is called the Sunnah. Tabari is a compilation of Hadith quotes and Qur'an passages, which helps the reader understand more of the nature of Muhammed and the nature of Islamic fundamentalism. Muslims believe that the Hadith is inspired by Allah the moon-god. Each of he Five Pillars of Islam are explained not in the Qur'an, but in the Hadith.

It is unbelievable the number of people who have written voluminously about the attacks of September 11, without once mentioning mainstream Islam. The true teachings of Islam. The true meaning of jihad.

Islam teaches murder, lying, deceit, pillaging, rape, incest, pedophilia, prostitution, piracy, looting, terrorism, torture, slave trade, piracty, and mutilation of NON_MUSLIMS.

Ever wonder why the Mullah's and other Islamic religious leaders don't condemn attacks on innocent Christians and Jews? It's quite simple. To do so is to condemn, and thus violate one of the Pillars of Islam. The second greatest pillar of Islam requires the killing of Christians and Jews.

"If you come upon them, deal with them forcibly as to terrify those who would follow, that they may be warned. Make a severe example of them by terrorizing Allah's enemies." - Ishaq 326

"The prophet said, 'I have been given the keys fo eloquent speech and given victory with terror." - Bukhari V9B97N127

And Muhammed didn't want anyone questioning him either. "Believers! Do not ask questions about things which if made plain and declared to you, may vex you, causing you trouble." Ishaq:365/TabariVII:94 There could be no Islam except for ignorance.

"Magic was worked on Allah's Apostle and he was bewitched so that he began to imagine doing things which in fact, He had not done." Bukhari"V6B60N8

"Jihad is compulsory." Muslim C40B20N4676

In response to Muslims leaving a big hole in the ground where the World Trade Center existed, we should have reciprocated in Mecca. Maybe next time.

Anyway this article I have is a step beyond what this post has to say, you say this video game is so bad in the light of the real world. At least you have the right to expose such things. Difference is when the West dream up fictional games, the Middle East turns such dreams into reality for the people who watch the screen.

news.bbc.co.uk...

The most senior judge in Saudi Arabia has said it is permissible to kill the owners of satellite TV channels which broadcast immoral programmes.

Sheikh Salih Ibn al-Luhaydan said some "evil" entertainment programmes aired by the channels promoted debauchery.

Dozens of satellite television channels broadcast across the Middle East, where they are watched by millions of Arabs every day.

The judge made the comments on a state radio programme.

He was speaking in response to a listener who asked his opinion on the airing of programmes featuring scantily-dressed women during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

"There is no doubt that these programmes are a great evil, and the owners of these channels are as guilty as those who watch them," said the sheikh.

"It is legitimate to kill those who call for corruption if their evil can not be stopped by other penalties."

Royal dilemma

Given his position as the country's most senior judge, the sheikh's views can not be easily dismissed, says BBC Arab affairs analyst, Magdi Abdelhadi.

Clerics like Sheikh al-Luhaydan represent a huge dilemma for the Saudi royal family, our correspondent adds.

On the one hand, Saudi rulers need their support to claim that they rule in the name of Islam.

But on the other hand, fighting militant Islam can be difficult when the country's top judge calls for the beheading of those he views as immoral broadcasters

Ok Bodrul,

Why don't you enlighten us with your knowledge? You were very quick to condemn Dooper, but, you didn't provide anything to back yourself up.

So what is Jihad all about then??

And please, do, provide some sort of reference!

Very interesting.. I did Google it. What caught my eye was "striving in the way of Allah". Just like Doopler said.

I actually thought that you were very conversant with Islamic ways and would enlighten us christians. But, I suppose you have nothing better to say than "google it". Google is an immense power source. if you read, only, the first page!!

There are truly some very sick, twisted individuals in the world.

Pretty sad when "games" become fantasy and "fun" of genociding a fellow human being because of their differences...

Beyond disgusting.

The game's creator, a freelance programmer known as Sigvatr, described the game on the SomethingAwful.com website as "fun and funny".

In a "How you can help" section, he writes to visitors: "Don't whinge about how offensive and 'edgy' this is."

British Muslim youth organisation The Ramadhan Foundation expressed its "deep condemnation and anger" at the game.

Well, somethingawful forums, that figures..for you non-gamers out there, the somethingawful forums are the home of a particularly nasty group of gamers that play a game called EVE-Online,(probably other games too) under the alliance name "Goonfleet", in EVE, that's their name, anyway. It figures something like this would come from that crowd, or one of the other denizens that inhabit that hole.

Somethingawful is awesome, I'm a goon myself, I don't play any online games, but it's one of the webs largest forums. The game is funny if you ask me, people need to lighten up, it's not serious at all.

The premise of the game is offensive even to Christians, for the American Hero eventually even takes on God.

Players control an "American Hero" armed with a machine gun and rocket launcher who is parachuted into the Middle East. Users progress through levels, first killing Arabs that appear on screen and later taking on Osama bin Laden, Mohammed and finally Allah.

Have a sense of respect when designing these games, and understand the seeds which are planted into the mind of the player. Nothing Good comes of this, even in jest.

Peace

I think maybe the problem I'm having with this thread is the fact that there are certain types of people in the world who just have such opposite world-views, that there is never any hope of reconciling their differences. I myself am somewhat of a nihilist, though a jovial one at that, and so I see the humor in this.

Nothing good comes of this, you say? Perhaps not, but sadly, goodness is not what makes the world go 'round. This game is nothing more than an over-the-top satire of a certain outlook on the world. Why should anybody worry about having a sense of respect when designing an ironic game? The point of satire is not to be respectful, but to make people blush when they realize how over-the-top and ridiculous their own beliefs might be.

Even if this game is not a well-crafted political statement about racism or whatnot, and instead it's just some kid screwing around and trying to get a laugh, who cares? Do you people truly believe that some crappy 8-bit game on the internet is going to influence kids to, what, bash Muslims? Are you afraid of finding your kid burning a pile of Qurans in the back yard? I find it hard to believe that anybody ACTUALLY thinks that.

Allah is the God of Abraham, and the God of Christians, by another name.

Myth? One thing is for sure, there is nothing funny about the dedication that many Muslims demonstrate to their faith, and I am not talking about extremists.

They (meaning christians) would disagree with you. They dont beleive Allah is the god of Abraham, muslims do.

It is a doctrine of Muslim faith that Allah is the god of abraham, from my conversations that same idea offends christians.

I (meaning a Christian who is the son of an Assembly of God minister) fully believe that Allah is the God of Abraham. One problem isn't with Islam's deity, it is with perversion of His "will" that has been propogated by many Muslims. The other problem is the Muslims only have 1/3rd of the story right... While they worship the God of Abraham, they fail to recognize Him in the form of the Holy Spirit & of Jesus Christ. Instead they elevate a mere mortal, Mohammed, above the Christ. Again, perversion of the will of the God of Abraham.

And every single one is disgusting and helping to build an ill minded society where ppl are no longer able to decide between reality and games...in the end some of the guys grap their gun and go out to shoot teachers, collegues or whomever....

This is a long awaited manifestation that clearly demonstrates the disgust, hatred and backlash that people feel agains the barbarity that is Islam.
Muslims have brought this on by themselves. Beheadings, the abuse of women, Honor Killings, Stoning waton murder and suicide bombings what do they expect ... it was a matter of time.

I think thats worth a repost....Columbine, and others are gamer kids who took their gaming to a new level.

en.wikipedia.org...

Regarding columbine: Wiki
Both Harris and Klebold were fans of video games such as Doom and Wolfenstein 3D

Some analysts argued that part of the killers' problem may have been desensitization due to their constant exposure to violent imagery in such video games, as well as music and movies, theorizing that their obsession with these forms of media may have led them to depersonalization.

Feed the mind the wrong material, and get a wrong result.
Like computers..garbage in, garbage out.

The video game factor is highly probably, in conjunction with complicated social issues the kids may have been experiencing.

The two teenage gunmen did not have a previous history of violence but were both enthusiasts of killing-oriented video games. The violence in video games was a major factor in teaching these kids how to shoot other people in real life. Violent video games can and have led children to committing acts of violence against other children and adults.
