Picture of a Rainbow Cloud

<<  1    2    3    4  >>

Topic started on 11-9-2008 @ 01:07 PM by asmeone2

What do you know, I actually had a camera when I needed one!

This was taken just north of Dallas--we do not have any fault lines to speak of here so I don't think this is related to earthquakes--but interesting non the less.

Edit to add: The sun is outside of the picture, to the left--it is not behind the rainbow, so this is not a 'sun dog.'

Is that one of those things they call 'sun dogs'? I hear the term and a description and that looks like maybe that what they meant.

Cool photo though!

Amazing, I just recently took a picture of a long skinny rainbow cloud as well. Sadly, it is undoubtedly HAARP.

I wonder if we were seeing something related to the hurricanes somehow?

I'm not sure if I get any affects of the hurricane up in the Chicagoland area but chemtrails are always abound and the weather seems manipulated. I've got the picture on my phone but am not the most computer savvy. If you can tell me how to upload it, I will.

I don't have a cell phone so I'm clueless there.

I can't say whether there were any chemtrailes or not that day. With so many airports around it's very normal to have a lot of trails, even interlocking ones that appear to have a grid shape, especially on humid days like that one.

There are no known fault lines to speak of here so I very much doubt it's related to sizemic activity, and as I said earlier, the sun is to the left of the picture, not behind the rainbow.

Normal affect, the cloud's at the right angle to catch sunlight and refract it.

In the case of the cloud, if it was foggier, you'd have a full rainbow.
As for the spot, same thin, but a sun ray.

That's very possible, it's hard to see the angle that the sun was shining since the picture is only 2D, but that was what I initially thought.

I looked well at this photo and read some of the replies to you prior to sending this reply.

I have seen this many times and as a matter of fact I shared a talk about this kind of event in the sky just yesterday.

I had brought up that at times I have seen UFOs flying just behind the clouds in the sky. I have also seen this with some of my friends. I have been around UFOs since about five years old. Thus if the sun is out of the photo you have a Sphere of Light shinning its energy thru the clouds. Some fog also has been present at times.

There is a relationship between the clouds and UFOs that needs more study prior to a formal talk on it.

I know more about these UFOs if you want to know more? This is real as anything alive on this planet. Best wishes for you

It was a cloud on a partly cloudy day. The thing was it looked as if the cloud was itself spectrum colored and not light simply passing through it. One of the strangest things I ever saw.

RuneSpider: I hear what you're saying but what about the youtube videos befire the Chinese earthquake? Those are much bigger and in crazier patterns

Again very possible. I imagine that if nothing else, the clouds woul dmake a handy camoflauge.
