I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this...

Occasionally I dream that I'm with someone that I don't recognize, yet I feel like I've known them forever and usually have very strong affectionate feelings for them. Usually a young female. It started when i was in my early teens. These people always seem to recognize me but act like they don't know me, as if they're not supposed to interact with me. When I try to confront them they either run away or ignore me.

From a spiritual perspective, I imagine this as someone "on the other side" that's checking in on me once in a while.

From a logical perspective, I figure this is my brain trying to sort out or deal with something about me.

Yes, I have this too. I always dream of a handsome gentlemen.


Then again... dreams can just be miss-firing synapses of the brain.

I believe in the theory that we are living in one of an infinite number of parallel realities/universes. I believe that in the dream state some of those realities can mesh together. So in another universe you may be friends with those people.
