Good question. Going strictly by the dialogue i'd say Barack drew from Layton's words. It may be plagiarism by definition but it doesn't make the point have any less of an impact, does it? Jobs are being shipped overseas, you know? It's not good for America.

Yup, it's like canned tuna. Boxed and shipped off to any liberal candidate to serve in the daily lunchline. These heartfelt moments are so phoney I can't see how they think anybody buys them lines anymore.
