Thanks so much for the clarification - I really should have mentioned that. I'm looking forward to trying the Mountain Climber cipher. I've got some ideas. No clue if they'll work out or not but it will be fun to try!

"The Mountainclimber Code" has been at 900 points for about 3 and a half hours now. Congratulations again to CeltAngel for solving "Jester's Tester". I'm debating adding a new code tomorrow or Sunday, too. We'll see how the next 24 hours play out, I guess. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for playing. Cheers all.

CeltAngel, we seem to be posting at roughly the same time again. I went to make this post and then noticed you made a new one in the meantime. That's kind of odd, don't you think? Peace.

(Edit to add the above paragraph).

I like to think that great minds think alike ;-) I can't wait to see the next cipher!! All my thoughts on TMC have not panned out. Does anyone else have any ideas?

"TMC" has been at 1000 points for nearly two hours now. Tomorrow, i'll either add another cipher or I'll at least give a clue on this one. Thanks and good luck.

Points for CeltAngel have been awarded...

Well done, sir...

Been pondering TMC for a while, must be some simple thing I'm missing.

Need sleep, ponder another day.

TMC has been killing me! All I've ever done is half a dozen or so substitution ones. It's driven me to looking up dozens of methods on solving these things with no real luck. I'm still trying, but I can't wait to see how this plays out!

Hi Chilled Zen. Thanks for checking in and thanks very much for the flag. I'm very glad to see this thread is indeed catching on. I really enjoy doing this and my one question about the fruits of my efforts (interest), is quickly being answered to my liking.

I believe CeltAngel will confirm that the points do get awarded and the game is on the level, so....

****Clue number 1 for "TMC".****

I wrote this code on my home computer. I recommend you try and solve it on yours. (This does not require special software). Sorry if this clue seems a bit vague, but as with most clues, the reason will be obvious when you see the answer.

Another new player making themself known has inspired me to begin writing a new code tonight. I may post it before I go to bed in about 4-5 hours. If not, i will post it sometime tomorow.

"TMC" is now worth 1100 points and counting. Good luck, eveyone!

And thank you again for your assistance with my thread, MemoryShock! I'm having a blast writing these and it seems to be catching on. I look forward to bigger games with far more thought in the near future. This is not possible without your time and efforts. Cheers, my friend.

Tried to enter a code that i think conflicted with the sites programing or something. It showed the first line and nothing more. There were 12 lines and it took me 20 minutes to get it on there. Anyways, I'll alter the code at work tomorrow and will post it in the evening. Thanks and sorry. I really wanted to put it up tonight. Oh well. Peace.:bnghd:

Hi StaticSky-

if it was the code I saw when I first looked at this thread today, I think you're running into trouble with the square brackets. Maybe it would work if you just insert a space between each symbol so that the software doesn't think you're using bb code.

Or I think there's a way to turn BB code off in your posts.

I'm working on TMC -- I think I figured out step one from your clue -- I've got too many patterns for it to be pure coincidence. But it's not quite falling together yet.

Thanks for providing these

Good stuff Celt. I figured it was some kind of clock cipher and if I kept thinking along those lines I would've got it (didn't have time for it this weekend :shk: ). The .T. being the center of the clock you grab the R, spin around to 9 o clock, grab the U, back to 3 o clock, etc etc.

Tried again to add a new cipher, with a re-written code. Still messed with there BB coding, I suspect. I had half of it on this time. Sorry again, folks. But it seems I'll have to re-write it again tomorrow. Third time's the charm, right? LOL.

By the way, "TMC" has been at 1200 points for awhile now. I feel bad so how about another clue. No real math is involved in this code. See you tomorrow. Peace.

"TMC" is at 1300 points, I'm sorry for the delay, and here's your new code....

Bradley and the Comedians

44,35,33,15,35,34,15,, 55,15,32,32,44,, 35,51,45,, "44,13,43,11,33,12,32,15"
11,34,14,, 44,15,34,14,44,, 11,, 23,11,34,14,21,51,32
35,21,, 53,35,35,14,15,34,, 34,24,13,31,15,32,44
11,43,13,23,24,34,22,, '43,35,51,34,14,, 45,23,15,, 44,51,34
12,43,11,14,32,15,55,, -51,34,44,51,44,41,15,13,45,24,34,22
33,11,14,32,15,55,, -13,35,32,32,15,13,45,24,34,22
45,23,15,, 45,35,31,15,34,44,, 11,34,14,, 45,23,15,34
44,35,33,15,35,34,15,, 15,32,44,15,, 55,15,32,32,44,, "14,35,22,, 41,24,32,15"
11,34,14,, 15,52,15,43,55,, 12,35,14,55,, 25,51,33,41,44,, 35,34,, 45,35,41
15,54,13,15,41,45,, 45,23,15,, 35,34,15
12,15,45,53,15,15,34,, 45,23,15,, 41,32,11,55,22,43,35,51,34,14
11,34,14,, 45,23,15,, 53,15,24,22,23,45,, 35,21
15,24,22,23,45,, 35,43,, 45,15,34

I sincerely hope the code is true. I believe it is. It's a new code. I scrapped the old one as I didn't feel like trying it a third time. I wanted to get a new one on here, so I went with a brand new one. I've had a very tough day, with some unforseen family issues that can't be overlooked, so I'm doing the best I can with what I have left today. Be well all.

As of now, "Bradley and the Comedians", or the "Comedian" cipher is worth 500 points and counting. Peace.

"TMC" is at 1400 points now, matching our biggest ever award. "Comedians" will be at 600 points in about 2 and a half hours.

***Second clue for "TMC"***

So you know these are not math problems. Consider what's unique about the numbered pairs. What can you say about the first number of each pairing? And what about the second? Are there any two digit numbers in the number pairings? What could that indicate?

That's all for now. Be well.

"TMC" is at 1500 points. A new record! "Comedians" is at 700 points, in about 3 and a half hours.

When I wrote them, I honestly thought that "TMC" was my second easiest code yet. ("Alpha" was about as simple as it gets, really). But it seems to be presenting a bit of a problem for my esteemed 'solvers' so far. This really is a cipher that will have most of you shaking your heads when you see the key to the final solution.

A wise man once said that sometimes the best place to hide something is right under your nose.

So there's your next clue. Peace.

"TMC" is worth 1600 points now! "Comedians" is worth 800 in less than 3 hours.

Another clue for "TMC". A clarification on the previous clues. The first number of each pairing is always a 1, 2, or 3. The second number is always 1 to 9, with no zero's. How many numbers/ letters are in play, in total then?

Talk to you soon. Be well.

"TMC" is now at 1700 points. In about 2 hours, "Comedians" hits 900. Is anyone getting anywhere on them? Has anyone started into "Comedians" yet?

Another clue for "TMC"....

The alphabet must be aranged a particular way. Not the way we learned, but a standard way, none the less. Good luck.

"TMC" is at 1800 points. Best ever by far! "Comedians" is at 1000 in an hour fourty five! Our highest ever combo! Cheers folks. Another clue for "TMC"

There is no great trick here. Bill Gates knows how the alphabet needs to be arranged. So does Steve Jobs. I hope this clicks with someone. That's all for tonight. Please anyone, let me know you're working on it. Thanks. Peace.
