This is outrageous, the man wasn't even wearing his pants saggy, but that's not the only thing, where was he at the time of arrest?

The cop said they will be enforcing this but didn't even comment on the part where he was only in front of his driveway.

the law is the law. ignorance is no excuse for it.
he said he was in front of his driveway, well maybe so but he was still on the sidewalk which makes it public property.
saggy pants are supposed to be "cool" because it supposedly means that you have been in prison and you lost so much weight that when you got out your pants no longer fit.

so in their minds being an ex con is "cool"

it doesn't get more stupid than that fellas.

he broke the law.
that is sufficient in my opinion.
or is breaking the law not doing "anything wrong"?

if they didn't like the law they should have voted against it...ya think?

Ha....from what i could tell his pants weren't even saggy...
He got arrested cuz his boxers were sticking out the top!! LOL
So what happens if he walks out wearing a pair of board shorts? is that ok?

It's laws like this that make me wanna go out and commit crime.

Typical non-news used as diversion, as usual

At worst, it may serve as warning for others to hitch up their pants or be arrested also. Would have to be more comfortable than flopping around in pants that look like a falling-off diaper in any case.

What happens to those guys with the hanging-off pants when they hit their middle and older years ? Do they change to wearing normal pants that fit ? Or do they continue to the grave in those stupid looking baggy pants ?

Mmmm....these days one has very little to do with the other.

The law is the law for the less evolved that think in black and white terms.

Did you actually see the video? Hi pants didnt look baggy or hanging. As someone else said his boxers were sticking out the top.

This is pretty pathetic.

LiquidSmoke, I'm just gonna give you fair warning that it might not be a good idea to couple the idea of committing crimes with that avatar you're using.

First off, I agree that his pants were barely sagging. Mine do that occasionally, and it's only because they really just don't stay up all the time. I do think it's absurd that some people wear their waste bands around their knees, although it has helped catch a few crooks that could only run like penguins. =)

Ummm.... no.

Saggy pants (pants worn where part of your underwear or buttocks are exposed) was first started as a trend in the California Penal System whereby offenders would let other offenders know that they were "available" for sex by wearing pants in that manner.

Most young people I know seem to not want to wear their pants like that when they find out what it REALLY means.

Next they'll be making "laws" dictating what haircut you need to have and what socks to wear.

This is just the NWO turning up the pot by 1 degree. And breaking the law either means one of two things.

What you did was wrong, or

The law is wrong.

This is ridiculus..... NWO removing your freedom one step at a time. No Hoddies, no baggy pants so what is next for them to remove.

I cant get over the fact that he got arrested for this. The way things are going you wont be able to go outside to get your mail unless your body is fully covered from head to toe. Well apart from your face that is.

LOL that's funny and scary at the same time, you always hear the fashion police jokes, but now it's like it's becoming a reality.

As noted, I've seen more than a few criminals caught because they couldn't run due to baggy pants.

Irony at its best methinks.

Along these same lines, how come pro basketball teams wear skirts?

Absolutely ridiculous!! Because his boxers were peekin' out the top?? What's next? A slipping bra strap gets ya 18 to 20??
