My Disturbing Lucid Dreams - Prophecy or Delusion?

Over the last three weeks I have had the following experience. I do not claim that this is a prophecy - merely a disturbing experience that I would like to place for other to read, interpret or comment of they so wish.

This is what took place:

Three weeks ago it began. Everytime I went to bed and closed my eyes the number 27 rushed into my head and I was confronted with an image of a cannon firing into the sky.
This happened for about a week and a half every single night for about 30 minutes.
A week and a half ago the cannon firing image was then followed by a jet flying some sort of evasive manouevers.

Now ordinarily I have a vivid imagination and very interesting dreams so was not too disturbed except for the repetition of the images and the way it seemed to be forced on me as soon as I lay back and closed my eyes.

On Friday night everything changed. I closed my eyes and it began as usual - the overwhelming feeling or presence or 27 being shouted at me, then the cannon image, then the jet. This time it did not stop.
All of a sudden images (like moving postcards last a few seconds) starting flashing by.

This is when I had the sudden thought that maybe I was supposed to be noticing all this - maybe this was more important than me losing my mind (which is what I had begun to think).

So I tried to concentrate on the images flashing by, trying to imprint details into my mind in case I would have to describe them as I am about to now.

All in all I was able to remember about 7 out of approximately 30 or more images or "visions" and I will share them here with you in my next post.

Here are the visions/delusions (lol) in what appears to be chronological order:

1. anti-aircraft cannon firing into the air
   
2. military jet flying trying to escape something using violent evasive manoevers.
   
3. ships being attacked by large numbers of small (creatures? Unclear.) a giant beast comes out of the water. Large fangs. A ship on the bottom of the ocean. Possibly the name Roosevelt.
   
4. a large explosion destroying a large city. Images of bridges. Then a street view and flags. A white flag with red cross. Not too clear. Almost like a St Georges flag. Also not sure if this is one vision or multiple.
   
5. elephants running loose on the streets of a city. View shifts to american flags waving on the same street.
   
6. flying over a jungle … or swamp … just trees as far as you can see. Then suddenly a pefect rectangular break in the jungle - showing clear view water. View shifts to water level in the opening. The break appears natural.
   
7. a street - people running panicked. Running with them is a tiny white man dressed in black military uniform. Almost like a Nazi SS uniform. View changes to the tiny man being escorted by military in similar uniforms, except grey, and they are not short. They enter a building and the view follows to where they are surrounding the tiny man. looks violent but then they move away and the little man is on the ground totally wrapped up in something so that he wld not be albe to hear, see or breathe? He is not quite dead though. The grey men are associated with a yellow or gold star. Not sure of exact type of star.
   

As someone has already commented, this may be pure delusion or overactive imagination. Personally I hope so because the alternative is a little scary to contemplate.

Feel free to rip me apart or post your interpretations, I understand both sides as I am torn between them myself.

That is my own thinking as well ... this particular Feed (Predictions and Prophecies) is one I generally avoid like the plague.

However the intensity was unbelievable and not something I have ever experienced before.

What is strange is that after 3 weeks of this, culminating in Friday's series of images, I can now close my eyes at night and I am no longer bothered by anything unusual. It simply stopped.

maybe it's the georgia flag

i believe they have bridges and explosions and streets. maybe it is prophecy.

Wow, pretty impressive. I wish I had your dreaming prowess. I hope it is nothing more than a dream but it sounds different. Have you read VALIS by chance?

After I had written this down, I tried to do some research by Googling some of the things like the flag and the ship called Roosevelt.

I was rather startled to find out the Georgia had a St Georges cross flag.

I was also intrigued to find out there was indeed a ship called Roosevelt - and on their website that they are performing tests on their reactor at the moment.

One bit of advice, is that you and only you, know if this has meaning or not. Your being told something, whether it is meaningful to you or not no one else can understand.

Also you know what sort of past record you have, with various types of thoughts, and states, and only you can tell if it has meanings, to you or someone or something.

thats why if you where good at predictiong stuff, and people where raping your mind, trying to take the stuff out of your brain, they would not have a clue, as all of us live in our own world, and only us can interpret any thoughts, that come from us.

Don't be so quick to dismiss your visions as delusions Dan. I know for a fact that dreams can be prophetic.

Learning how to interpret your dreams is an art. Try not to pay so much attention to the images. I'm not saying to neglect them; but focus more on your feelings and your instincts. They'll serve you well when trying to deduce the purpose of your dream experience.

I noticed that when I watched many for a few days I started to dream of similar things that were in them.
And although many of the things were from the videos they were all jumbled up.

Hi - what was unusual is that these are lucid dreams - I was aware of my surroundings at all times.

I also tried to influence the images as I can with normal day dreams or dreams but this was not possible.

I have not read the book you mentioned - tell me more...

Hi there, no I never watch YouTube videos - bandwidth here in SA is too slow, and it is blocked at work.

I am aware that I may be influenced by outside thoughts and worries and interests so am very interested in others take on all this.

In case you didn't know, that's to say if you've been living under a rock...

We, our solarsystem, is getting ready to cross the galatic gravitional horizion for our galaxy. This is a 7 year period of time that is basicly the end of the old world and the beginning of a new world. It is maked and understood to be the 2012 phenomenon, but the 2012 date is only the halfway point of the transition.

Increased abilities to some is quite common place and will increase as we move toward and through the event horizion.

In the case you didn't know, there's going to be drastic global changes, including a pole shift among other major world changes. This puts major stress on the governments of the world, and it sparks the limited use nuclear warfair of World War 3.

This is well enough documented through out history through a wide and vast series of prophetic visions given to all sorts of people.

So, they were lucid but you had no control? Interesting.

VALIS is a book by Phillip K Dick that is a loosely autobiographical account of his experience when he was "beamed" information from somewhere. He saw a purple light and then he just started to get fed all of this information.

Obviously, there is a lot more to it than that. But the aspect of receiving knowledge from an unknown source seemed to be at least an interesting comparison.

A very discerning and enlightened ATS member once told me that dreams are always about the dreamer. Maybe you need to analyze the images from that perspective.

I've had several prophetic dreams in my lifetime which were generally warnings of an imminent event. The way in which I can differentiate of the dream being prophetic in nature is that I can very clearly recall the message of the dream when I awaken.
The Native Americans say that our dreams are our means of connecting with our spiritual guide, which I feel are our modern day Guardian Angels.
The fact that its been repeated to you seems indicative of being of some significance.
Everything happens for a reason....

Thankfully, ATS has given me a fair amount of info on 2012 and the Polar shift phenomenon - my feeling is that the images were mean't be chronological because they had some bearing or meaning or were a result of something from a previous image.

The image of the elephants in the streets and american flags flying - but the overall impression was not good. What do the elephants mean? Don't the Americans and Democrats parties have certain animals as insignias or mascots?

I got the impression that the sea monster with the fangs was not mean't be taken literally. In other words it was not a monster per se, but a terrible machine with many weapons (sharp fangs).

In any event my girlfriend is freaked because I am a very logical person who is not into the esoteric or supernatual. And she has never seen me so freaked before either.

Philip K Dick is one of my favourite writers but have never heard of this one. I will definitely investigate, thanks

One thing I regret is missing so many other images that were shown to me ... I was so busy trying to make sense of an image ie. try remember a street name, or recognise a building or face that when I did see something interesting, and was contemplating it, 2 or 3 other images had passed by.

I was able to scroll back to the images I remembered, but never to the ones I missed, and once I scrolled back and decided to move on, the images went right to the end and continued with new ones.
