Thisis another linking of movie opinions and the name of the post says it best. What is it with Hollywood and the remake craze? There are hundreds of excellent authors out there with fantastic stories and the idiots and cheap SOB's in Follywood make remakes of classics that should be left to hold there own character. What realy PO's me about it is the PC crap that invades the remake process. Ok, enough rant, here's my pics for good and bad:

GOOD: Since I am a western movie fan, Tom Sellecks remake of "Monty Walsh" has to be one of the best remakes of westerns. It is every bit as good as the original,if not better!

BAD: Actualy I have two. First, 'War of the Worlds'. Second: 'Pink Panther'

Foolywood needs some smart folks to maybe...Read a few new books. Maybe not be so cheap and 'BUY some rights of new works instead of just regurgitating stuff they already own!

Just found another truly horrible remake. " The day the earth stood still"!
They made it a political statement other than the one in the original and didn't even get that right!!
