Who cares about Barack Obama's religion? What is so wrong with the Muslim faith anyway? The man said he was Christian. He belonged to Rev. Wright's crazy church for 20 years. Plus, Michelle Obama would slap the black off his ass if he had been lying to the American people. That lady doesn't mess around.

Reverend Wright for your information was a Muslim before he supposedly converted to Christianity. For some reason though, he maintains a very close relationship with Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam.

I guess a person's honesty doesn't matter to you either.. If he'd lie about his religion, what else about himself is he misrepresenting to the American voters?

if obama is a muslim, the reason he would hide such a thing is the amount of scaremongering there is around the islamic faith. And the majority of the american people associate islam and muslims with terrorism. But the fact that the nature of ones religious beleifs can swade an entire countries vote is rediculous. religion should have no bearing on polotics whatsoever, only the candidates polocies and way of government should be taken into accout.

The world would be a much better and equal place if religion was not at the for front of society.

It was a freudean slip. That's what he really meant to say even though he was sopposed to say "christian". It's actually a mix of Islam and christianity like Farakan's "Nation of Islam" with some black supremacy white hate thrown in for kicks. Most Islamics when asked say he's a muslim.

He walks like a Muslim and talks like a Muslim he thinks like a Muslim ,His Name is Muslim, His Pastor was Muslim , He was born to a Muslim, And to top it off he says he is a Muslim what else do you need the lair is a Muslim ,

I was born one faith and changed my faith, But I will never say I am what I am not by accident,

So make your mind up If there is any doubt that he is not a Muslim just do a Google search and you will be shocked

Yes, I agree with you. I don't think it was a gaff, or the guy not knowing what religion he belongs to.

I think he overestimated the intelligence of some Americans, or underestimated their stupidity. I don't believe he will repeat that mistake, from now on, he should talk as if he where addressing an audience of kindergarten children. From these posts, that is the approximate level of understanding some Americans have.

Lincoln was a big government LIBERAL! The Repupblican party was LIBERAL! The Big Split didn't happen until the Civil Rights Issue of the 50's, 60's, and early 70's. Before the Big Split both parties had Liberals and Conservatives. But then the Conservatives left the Democrats and became the Dixiecrats, before joining the Republicans as the Liberals in the Republican Party left it and joined the Democrats.

DOn't they teach this in high school? College? Anywhere?

*Back in my day kids went to school to get an education. I guess they're just too busy doing drugs and listening to rap to learn. Heck, even when you try to teach them if you fail them and use a red marker you go to jail for child abuse because that big red F on their paper did ireversible harm to their psyche. Complete and total BS that a teacher can be fired for failing students because they copied the same Biology report and turned the same report in. But you know, we wouldn't want the kids to LEARN anything at school. That would get in the way of having sex in the bathrooms and doing drugs.

Once again the obvious is missed. It is not a matter of whether Obama is Muslim or not, its a matter of the CFR, Tri-lateral and powers behind the POTUS getting there boy. If McCane wins, they win. If Obama wins, they win, either way WE loose. So in November choose your poison, will it be arsenic or cyanide, both will kill you just as quickly.
