Here is an article by Norman Solomon, noting the irony of the newly reformed GOP party of change. I am not going to let this issue get pushed aside.
This is the single biggest hipocracy that the GOP has created in the last couple of weeks. It is a flawed argument on their part and it is a
decisively low political move, attempting to confuse people.
Why did this party of change, not reform themselves in the last 8 years. And if they feel that there is a need for a change from the past 8 years,
they are admitting that many of the decisions they made were incorrect. But if they are claiming that the decisions and idealogy they have had for
the last 8 years was the correct one, why would they want to change it. And if they felt that something in the last 8 years was in need of changing,
why did they vote party lines and not implement change while they had the majority in the legislative and executive branches?
They cannot have this both ways.
