Vienna: In a historic decision that brings India back into the global nuclear fold after over three decades, the 45-nation Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) on Saturday agreed to rewrite its guidelines to resume global nuclear trade with New Delhi.

The NSG's decision to grant India a "clean waiver" from its existing rules, which forbid nuclear trade with a country which has not signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), came after three days of intense diplomacy by the US in the nuclear

This is both good news and scary news.
What is scary is that the American Govt. is largely behind this and that cannot be a good thing.

I pray to god almighty that India will NEVER allow itself to be a puppet govt.


India has accused China of playing spoilsport at the 45-member Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) meet in Vienna and government sources say that New Delhi is considering cancelling state visit of Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.



India is unhappy with New Zealand's attitude too, and is also considering cancelling the visit by New Zealand Governor General Anand Satyanand, who is of Indian origin.
