Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson is preparing to announce plans to bring Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac under government control, seeking to halt the crisis of confidence in the companies that make up almost half the U.S. mortgage market.

Well the big takeover is beginning for Fannie and Freddie. More economic roller coaster riding...wheeee.

Time for us taxpayers to fork over some more money to pay for the greed and mistakes of the financial markets.

It must also be nice to by up U.S. debts as investments knowing that the American taxpayer will always back you up if something goes wrong.
