They should probably have her on. If it was to be made a discussion show with Palin faced with a panel of academics/professors and general
intellectuals, they should be able to demonstrate the fallacy of many of her policies to ordinary people. This would be a great opportunity for the
democrats to demonstrate just what a bad thing a McCain/Palin government would be for Americans.

How many women has Oprah had on her show?
How many influential and powerful women have Oprah had on her show?
How many White people have Oprah had on her show?
How many White politicians has Oprah had on her show?
Really, you need to do better than you have done.

When I did see that Intrepid was a canadian and I looked over his response. i am very sorry for his response. I am a canadian and unfortunately a
liberal media runs rampant in our country as well a majority of people that comes from our major cities in Canada vote liberal. So when you see a
canadian response in favor for a democrat it is because this country is run by a bunch of socialists.

the media doesn't have a liberal slant to it - you've just been proven wrong by the queen of the media!
"Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on," an insider explains. "Oprah's website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah
and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama."

Its time to for the pot to call the kettle black. Oprah is being a "racist" by not having Gov. Palin on. It is unacceptable and Oprah's show should
be "BOYCOTTED" until she has the Governor on her show.

I guarantee Oprah is terrified of having Palin on her show. Half of her viewers would probably change their "minds" and vote McCain\Palin.

Oprah's show is privately owned by, Oprah.... as with all private property, she is free to do what she wants with it, including being as biased as
she wants. Honestly I don't see any issue here.

Oprah's a talk show host, not an investigative journalist.
Based on US property laws...she is allowed to have who she wants on the show, and not one celebrity more or less, of course allowing for sponsor and
studio input etc etc
Please give me your insight as to why Jerry Springer has not tackled the issues at hand. Hell he should just have Obama and McCain on next week.
We'll have this whole thing settled before the snow flies.

Be careful what you wish for.
I would love to see Palin on Oprah. In fact, the more interviews by intelligent people that are opposed to Republican policy the better.
They will verbally annihilate her and expose her as the joke that she is.
I can't wait for the debates!

The picture is a proven fake. Jeeze..you could not see that? We get it: You are a liberal Democrate and you are going to pursue your agenda even it
you use forgery, false rheteric and negative propaganda.
My gues is if see flopped, we whould not hear about this women. She did very well, far better then most imagined. Bottom line is that she is a
concern for the far left.
Bottom line: who cares about Opra? All of this press is a positive for Palin, hence Mcain.

It is Okra's show, and she can invite or not invite whoever she pleases. Unfortunately for her, once her bias is made public, it's also the publics
right to change the channel, and boycott her sponsors. Money is all that's important to her.
Her quick response to the Drudge article, shows she's concerned about losing viewers. She just screwed herself rating wise in my opinion.

No, I'm implying that Oprah shouldn't compromise her Editorial Criteria for financial gains. After all, I don't think she needs the money that
desperately. She should stick to her principles, and not invite people who she doesn't identify with.
Palin needs Oprah, and her show. Oprah has nothing to gain from Palin. Simple as that....

Seriously Oprah does not do the news, she is not a reporter and she owns the show, it is a talk show. So why should she have to give Palin any air
time?
If you want each candidate to get equal air time, in all forms of media then I am all for that, and I do think the media is biased, but not in a
liberal sense, they continaully applaud conservative views and make fun of liberal views IMO.
They also spend more time reporting on the bad girls of Hollywood than they do the real news like Iraq and the military and the damage done in this
war to our military and Iraqi civilians.

Oprah should just have Palin on after the presidential election, since people do want her on. Make a contract saying that whether McCain wins or Obama
wins she will be on the show. That way everybody is happy, people see Palin on the Oprah show, Oprah's ratings go up and Oprah won't feel like she
is backstabbing Obama. Now if Oprah just doesn't like Palin (not for reasons connecting with Obama) and doesn't want her on her show, why should we
pressure her to and why should she feel pressured to do that. If you don't want someone coming into your home and your property, why should you.

Oprah will lose viewers if she does not have Palin on. Why? Because she will be viewed as a hypocrite. Oprah's entire talk show carreer has been
built around the empowerment of women. She is afraid to be confronted by a a successful woman whose beliefs are the polar opposite of Oprah's. She
obviously is obviously a coward.
