If you had one minute to explain to somebody why the republicans and democrats are bought out by the media, what would you say?

It is ridiculous to think that almost every major issue of national importance has two sides, with the public split almost perfectly evenly between two 'opposing viewpoints'.

That speaks to manipulation of opinion, a drawing of the political landscape to maximize divisiveness.

That serves the interest of the media, there's always new 'spin' and stories to sell, and a polarized audience to target their product to.

That also serves the interest of the two political parties, between them, they 'own' the playing field and can swap power back and forth between themselves.

(was that less than a minute?)
