Roswell: Final Declassification (History Channel)

You know now that I think about it, I remember watching another special on UFO's where they said the GAO reported that all files pertaining to Roswell were destroyed. So if that's true, what files did they show on "Roswell: Final Declassification?" Now it seems to me that it wasn't a weather balloon if that's true.

That they were given permission to finally see the files, and were told they had all been destroyed.
So, what were these guys looking at.
Not only that, when was the last time you saw declassified pages that didn't have at least some info "blacked-out"??

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean Tread. As a matter of fact the History Channel had "UFO's: Then and Now" on last week and it said the GAO found that all Roswell files had been illegally destroyed. Plus, everytime they bring out something declassified some info is always blacked out. When I was watching the Roswell special I noticed how nothing in the documents was blacked out. Very, very wierd.

I'm telling you, I reall felt the same way I felt after watching Geraldo doing tha Al Capone vault thing: used and abused.

That whole Roswell program was not very well done. It felt phony to me. It people they interviewed were not convincing, almost like they have been interviewed for another show. And, then this show was spliced together to give the topic a new life!
Just like those American Justice shows and their ilk.

That being said, if certain individuals are going to make claims of the possible greatest discovery in the history of mankind, then I do not think it is too much to ask for a little proof to back up those claims.

I saw the documentary last night(sunday the 21st) on the history channel and it pretty much said that the UFO phenom is real and the governments know about it, have protocalls to deal with it and are extremly secretaive about legit UFO reports.
Thats what I got out of the program.

I have seen a few things, most of which could be explained, but a few could not be.

I don't know how people keep missing where I have posted that I believe that we are being "visited" but I am not so sure that the Govt is in possesion of ET craft. That is what I want proof of.

Proof that we are being visited? I think the AF of Belgium pretty much cleared that one up. As far of proof of Roswell? I have yet to see any "definitive" proof and I would love nothing more than for Roswell to be true.

I think it's been determined that indeed ufo's are real, that the military has alot of information on them including manuals and protocols.

The *real* issue becomes, are ufo's extraterrestrial?

Given all the earthly things it can be *other* than et (man made military crafts for example), that for me is the crux of the debate.

Proof is all I ask.

I do believe that we are being visited.

What I have trouble believing is that the US Govt has a crashed saucer and bodies. There has never been concrete evidence presented that I know of at this writing. I would love nothing more than for some irrefutable proof to come out.

Anything concrete proof.

What many people seem to have forgotten is that the Air Force changed their story again from a Mogul balloon to a Fugo balloon. So anyone trying to prove the Mogul balloon version (which in itself is a load of crap) is trying to prove the Air Force's PREVIOUS story.
