You basically just split America into the stupid and the smart, OP. I'm a conservative, I say if gay people want to get married let them, and abortion isn't always taboo. I'm not waiting for wwIII, and I am not very religious. I believe the Constitution provides a pretty good government, one that minds its own business and does as little as possible, that's why I'm conservative. I know a lot of people that agree with me, and they are intelligent, well-read people who are making an informed decision.

Which America am I in OP?

it's not the OPs fault. all this started when the two party system was split down the middle and there was no middle voice presented in the media. they did that on purpose. this is all about starting a civil war. they want to use it to remove specific types of people from the landscape. and by they i mean, whoever is running this horse and pony show.

America One

Lives their lives in a traditional way, living simply, fearing God, and preparing for the end of days. And all they do in the interim is do what the bible tells them. Believe that terror is the newest enemy. Doing the best they know how.

America Two

Intellectuals. Humanists. Hoping to fix what has been broken. Believes we create more terrorists by our actions. Doing the best they know how.

That's not me. In fact, I'd be in America Two, but would probably lean more towards the conservative side (America One).

I find that insulting, but I don't think the OP meant it that way, so I'll let that go.

Here's America as I see it:

America One:
Intelligent, informed people who genuinely care about both our politics and global politics. They don't take propaganda at face value, if they have an argument, it's based on what they have verified themselves.

America Two:
Intelligent, but not informed. Watches the news and accepts it as the bottom-line truth. These are your war-mongering conservatives and your socialist liberals. Eats up propaganda from whoever claims to have the same belief as them. Think Obama will bring about change but can't tell you a single thing he's done while in Congress, or thinks McCain will be a great leader but, likewise, can't tell you any specific thing he's done.

So what do you have? You have the sane middle, and the ridiculously insane extremes (any extreme, in any direction or philosophy).

Now I don't mean that if you're a republican or democrat your and extremist; I mean that if you're political choice is based on idealism and not informed consideration you're an extremist.

Most Americans are idiots IMO. How many times do you hear of Republicans playing the Abortion Card as if it is a really important issue. How about giving rights back to fathers and dealing with it that way. That would solve 95% of all abortions. But what is wrong with America is our families are falling apart pure and simple. The US Government has infiltrated our homes, our minds, our relationships, our families, our thoughts and feelings about just about everything.

If I ran for President, I would play the I am not going to meddle in your personal life card. Thats the way to go!

Your 'Christian' family wants armageddon to kill the sinners, to bring Jesus?
Man! I thought some of MY family was weird!

First of all, as simplynoone said, to long for judgement of mankind is forbidden AND stupid, ALL of us were stupid and sinful at one time or another, second, Jesus returns to gather his people to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb(Just like Lot and Noah were taken out FIRST before judgement)
at least 7 years BEFORE armageddon!
As a FORMER republican, I can see a LITTLE of your point.
It truly is a paradigm shift, when you have your eyes opened to the absolute MASSIVENESS of the collusion by the PTB.
It almost knows no bounds.
Be assured there are more categories than you know.
Many also overlap.

It's called "Divide and Conquer", you simply take a large group of people with differing views and opinions and polarize them into two sets of people. In America you are either for something or against something, if you are for topic A then you must, by default, be for Topics B,C and D.

It is imperative that you make it clear that Group B not only opposes the desires of Group A but that they seek the exact opposite of those desires. Everything must be split down the middle, are you Red or Blue?

If you are Red then you are obviously from the heartland, probably like Nascar and drive a pick up, you go to church and you love Jesus. If you are Blue then you probably live in a city like New York, drive a Prius and drink lattes. There is no purple, however, you can only choose Red or Blue.

This situation is what I call a "Virtual Democracy" where in we have no real choice but have been so polarized into opposites that we vehemently feel the desire to beat our perceived opposition. This in turn has made it much easier for the powers that be to control us, there are only two groups to control and one will always do the opposite of the other.

There is a third group I believe, an Objectivist group, those who stand outside the crowd and observe, noting with certainty that both Group A and Group B are both stupid and quite insane.

This is a pretty good summary. It goes way beyond politics. This is a culture issue that politics seeks to exploit.
