Look at it this way, Most of us have families, Mum, Dad, Grandad and Granny, Bro and sis, plus your beautiful adored children.
You have to bug out cos a tsunami or pyroclastic flow, or fire, or flood or whatever is going to wipe out your home town.
As you travel along the route to safety, one of the adults in your party gets hurt or injured, and can no longer travel, Its clear you cant move them,
its clear they will die when the storm/ fire/ flood etc gets here. But you have the crazy notion of All For One, Leave No man behind.
So you will sit with the injured party and die along within to preserve your humanity and semper fi mentality, and your infant children will cluster
around you awaiting death with you because you want to stay with granny or who ever till then end. So because of your " humanity" not only does
granny die, but so does the rest of your family. Thats not survivalism, nor humanity that just plain stupid. Least you wont die alone though !
