Then why do they always look the same?
black sweatsuits and masks with bandannas and violence that Doesn't help our rights?

About France, here's a possibility;
Neo-con fascism.

They probably pick their clothing & wear bandanas because they figure if they're recognized while being filmed by the media present their parents will kick them out of the basement and make them go out and find jobs. I have no idea why they wear what they wear... and we've all seen plenty of footage of protests turned riot in which the ones looting & breaking things were dressed in everyday clothes, so I consider your argument to be a falacy anyway.

As for the link you provided... Rense? I get it, he strokes the conspiracy bone so he's a great source for information, right? Not hardly. Has the man ever gotten anything he put up as "news" right before? Wasn't he recently reporting that the US and Russia were preparing to nuke each other a few months ago? I view Rense like I viewed the corny dork in high school that would walk up to people and yell "Shirt's on fire!" while pointing at their shirt and then holler "Now it's out!" when the person looked down. You're gonna have to produce some more compelling sources to get me to believe that the French destroying their own cities & countrysides was an inside plot by "neo-con fascists."

Well said.

Let me set a few things straight.

I am NOT against the Police being there to protect people and property.
I am against those on both sides who inflame the situation to the detriment of all.
I am against Police using teargas and mace on retreating marchers.
I am against the small handful of so called anarchists who give us a bad name.

But most of us ARE wise enough to realize there are extreme rioters and extreme cops.

Well said and sensible

It is getting hard to discuss these things because if you approve of the protest and disapprove of the violence, you get labeled and attacked by people for which there is no middle ground.

As to the use of Hippie all of the sudden. To be one you must be a genuine pacifist. Perhaps its time for us to regrow our hair and come out of retirement to demonstrate peaceful protest. If only we did not have to earn a living to pay for our kids school and spoil our Grandchildren

Thank you for the report.

Here's another tip for you, genius, real change is said and done with your votes, not with a mass riot.

Agreed.

And when the 'electronic voting machine' manufacturers come out 8 years after the fact and state that their software is faulty and that votes just happened to be lost during some sort of transfer, what then about your votes? You see, we can't even vote properly anymore without the idea or possibility that rigging is going on. There is zero accountability with these voting machines. It's a joke and it has been funded by, yes, I sadly admit it, the party I have voted for in virtually every election I have been able to. The republicans.

Sorry genius, but you see, when people begin to believe that even their votes aren't being counted then you will see more and more protests like this.

Any links or data to back that up? I didn't see any posted in your response.

mmmm, I would guess that doing a google would get you a lot of info in regards to this, but here is one article, though it is just ONE.
www.engadget.com...

You should also look at wiki and then look at some of the articles in google that addresses the history of this company deleting negative information about themselves from wiki.

Ok,first off. I am a Conservative and in the Military ( no we are not out to get you ) and I support free speech and protesting. But, I draw the line at hundreds of rampaging liberal hippy teeny boppers that are still in college that know NOTHING about politics what so ever other then what they read online or hear from their friends, destroying store fronts and over turning other peoples property like it's their right to do so.Is it possible the police went to far? Maybe. Is it possible the protesters instigated the whole mess? Maybe! I was not there so I do not know. All I know is I pray the DNC and the RNC NEVER ever come to St.Louis.I really don't want this happening in my home town.I am not allowed to attend any sort of protest due to Military regs so I can not counter protest the Libs peacefully as much as I would like too. But, I have yet to see any proof of who actually started the riots in St.Paul.All I know is it was embarrassing and sad to see.Just my piece on this!

St. Paul is a Liberal town, so is Minneapolis.

One night while cruising Minneapolis, we saw a very long line during the showing of Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" about Global Warming. Other shows had little or no lines - goes to show you how Liberal the Twin Cities are.

Liberal protesters are the worst - they advocate for peace and a utopia but are the ones being physically and verbally abusive the most. They'll gang-up and beat on one person etc.

In the video, a kid threw himself onto the cop - not a smart move. He's lucky he didn't get a Baton up his you-know-what.

Weeeeee! Sounds like you guys had a rockin' good time there, I'm too far away to attend so props on your upscale manner, I was not surprised to see you mention provocateurs. They tried an similar tactic (fight goading) at an rally here in Vancouver BC.

Good to know the NWO/OWO will have a difficult path in their doomed quest.

MSM has not covered this at all well enough if any.

I do not know the truth about anything anymore from msm, only from people like you.

Thanks! It could have gone badly for you but its only because of your efforts that those not there with you know the truth of what went/is going on.

They have you.
The government is so powerful, and they keep you so weak...You lack the tools to take or make the tools to challenge the government. You lack the tools to take or make the tools to make them respect you. The government does not respect what it does not fear, and it does not fear you.

You are powerless.
No guns, no bombs, no anti-aircraft missiles. Sure you are MAYBE allowed to have something you could kill a non cop who's not wearing a bullet proof vest, but bullets strong enough to kill a cop? Oh no that's not allowed. You don't have and aren't allowed to have anything that would enable you to in any way challenge the dictated social order.

Get out while you still can.
Move to Canada. Mexico. Germany. (Not Britan^_^ They are worse than here) I don't care where you go, but you have to get out, because...

You can't change things here.

Absolutely a great story. The cops though this is so so wrong has anyone tried an emergency injunction in the federal courts. This is so so un#ingconstitutional.

Anybody and everybody touched arrested threatened beaten whatever by the police need to get attorney and file suit in Federal Court. This will push this issue of constitutional rights.

I know people usually poo poo the idea of boycotts but I am in the midst of making a substantial list of sponsors of all of the major news stations in the US. Everybody and I do mean everybody needs to bombard them in mass to scare the hell out of them. If we get a mass of people to contact these people and say I will not use your product cause you support a news agency that lies to the public. May be we can get a little done. '

I will put it up soon.

Could the OP please explain the violent actions of the protestors including throwing bleach and other chemicals on some of the delegates? Do you support such violence?

Protestors attack delegates

As far as I'm concern acts like rage against the machine are part of the problem. They are a bunch of violent militant brainwashed leftists, serving the cause of satan. He who sins is a slave to sin and that's what these guys preach.

I trust the Police kept the order Look if you take to the streets and pick a fight with the cops, you are going to get your butt kicked. I have respect for those in the street and the cops busting heads. Ya gotta love America.

Now THIS is citizen journalism. THIS is one of the things that makes ATS an outstanding resource. I particularly liked the comparison between the DNC and RNC. # the RNC. Their party is done. They should retire to Jesusland and go die. Now it's time for the people to lead.

There is a huge difference in enjoying a concert and expressing the freedom of speech, and outright out of control hysteria.

When people learn to know the difference between using your constitutional rights responsibly and abusing those rights, and following and doing what is right, then perhaps someday we wont see this sort of thing happen.

Cheers!!!

I agree 100%!

Another reason why the police might have been so ready to go are the reports of plans to kidnapping of RNC delegates and the arrest of a truck bomber in the area.

So it's best things ended some what orderly!

Interesting. Reading these posts its not hard to pick out the cops or ex cops, and the rest of the "Bushies." These guys always claim they have no agenda, but reek of Government brainwashing soap. With out these "robots" the system would not work. The police and government supporters know well enough that these tactics are used and are taught. If there is no fire to put out, you start one. They know it and we know it.

Their days are numbered and the people are getting wise to them. They would like us tothink they are neutral and just one of the guys, but they are not real good at this, and its easy to spot them. How many "Gestapo" types did you spot in this thread? Obvious arent they?

I think that it is total bs that a bunch of gung ho wanna be cops or military should have any presence at a PEACEFUL Protest. I have seen countless stories and at no time did it look like any of the civilians were trying to start anything. If anything it appears that they were forced into submission be our so called free government. By the way what ever happened to the 5th Ammendment. I believe that freedom of speach is one of our rights or do we not live in America anymore. Anyone who supports the actions of the military and police in this incedent is a communistic loser. Go ahead and bash me all you want, you cant change the way I think or feel! I commend all who took part in this PEACEFUL protest. God Bless You!

Does anyone see the hypocrisy in an anti-war protester getting violent....like they always do?

It's like the hippies in the 60's and the "Throw a brick for peace" mentality.

Wait for the outrage when LEO's are forced to respond in kind with force.

Those protesters are not about changing the world. They are about chaos.

A friend of mine is a cop and divides them up like this:

1. The conservative protestors are generally very orderly, not into property damage, rarely have problems with cops, and do not wear masks.

2. The liberal fringe, are chaos incarnate, think nothing of damaging private or public property, get into # with cops constantly, and hide behind masks so their acts of cowardice cannot be directly attributed to them
