Yes you hit a lot of things on the head...But were are those Republican minorities right now.

How many are on a ballot running for office?

Where is Powell, Rice, Gonzalez? They are prominent figures and you don't see them making ads for McCain or appearing at events with him.

My issue here is that the democrats are better at recruiting minorities than the Republicans.

The Republican National Convention showcased a Native American color guard, a black preacher and video footage of civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks, all part of its effort to present the GOP as a picture of diversity. What it hasn't offered is many minorities speaking from the podium in prime time, or sitting among the delegates.

I believe i shall quit my job and vote democrat! All you others will then be more than happy to foot the bill for me to sit at home all day! I mean really I would much rather do that then get up at 3:45am and work 12 hours a day. Would you, there in lies the question. That a good enough answer?

You hit it right there! If Barack gets elected and starts enacting his Socialist ideals, you might AS WELL quit your job and collect welfare! That's definitely good for America! Let's put everyone on the welfare rolls.

I don't know who said it or exactly how, but its so true:

"The more you depend on the government to give you, the more the government can eventually take away from you."

Follow the herd sheeple! Minorities need to see the big picture. Quit listening to the MSN and the Democrats. Obama is not Martin Luther King! Martin Luther King was Republican anyway!

LINCOLN AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY THAT DID THAT WERE LIBERAL!!!! AND THE SOUTH WAS CONSERVATIVE! THE BIG SPLIT DIDN'T HAPPEN UNTIL THE 1950'S AND 60'S WHEN THE CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRATS BECAME THE DIXIECRATS THEN JOINED THE REPUBLICANS WHO THEN BECAME THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY! BEFORE THEN THERE WERE LIBERALS AND CONSERVATIVES IN BOTH PARTIES!

Gah, how many times do I have to say this?!

Also, to the guy who quoted Byrd, you realize he did apologize for being part of the KKK, and joined the liberals in fighting for civil rights while the Republicans go to the KKK every election year for support. And yes they exist have I think 50,000-75,000 full members and lots of non registered members. Why the Republicans go to them every year. Heck in 2004 you had ELECTED REPUBLICANS saying that the KKK Grand Wizard was a "good man of great character" during a Super Sunday.

This sounds mighty interesting. Do you have proof of this or what are you basing this on?

2004 they went to the KKK and bought their membership list. It was a big stink in the media. Then during the Super Church Sundays you had GOP members giving speeches next to KKK Grand Wizards.

But then again, 2004 might as well be 1004 with the memory span of Neocons. They don't even remember the day before Palin when they had political ads saying "Experience is everything!" Then after Palin was announced they all screamed "You don't need experience to be President!"
