I remember back in early June. I found a post from someone on these city forums who back in March said he had received an odd phone call from his Uncle who works in the military saying the economy was expected to collapse in September.

I'm reminded of how both Jimmy Carter and Herbert Hoover took the blame for economic downturns that they did not create. As I watch the RNC, I can't help but think that the R's are throwing this election on purpose. There's just no way that they're this incompetent. But, Sept. seems a little early for a collapse to happen that's meant to be blamed on the next admin. It'll be interesting to watch, that's for sure.
