This is what kills me. It's a flipping joke and quite frankly it embarrasses me that so many have fallen for this 'they' and 'them' when it's BOTH sides playing YOU!

Is it right what they did? No. Period. I'm just sick of the 'extremes' coming on this site and pointing fingers at the other side when THEIR side is just as guilty. It's called hipocrisy.

These attacks were more than likely self inflicted or lateral.

Those who are behind these shenanigans are making enemies of the press very quickly (I mean like as I am writing this). The media does not like manipulated by politicians. The media will not let the politicos make unsubstantiated claims of being attacked by unproven ,unattributable and vague attackers. The media does not control the message but they do control the moment. The media does not accept blame lightly. Blaming the media is a very dangerous game to play.

Interesting thoughts, but in my opinion this has nothing to do with the media. The media will report whatever they believe is news worthy, and if biased whatever they believe will favor their bias.

And in regard to who has the most to gain by doing such a thing, I think that would include most everyone outside of the McCain camp or McCain supporters.

What if...

The Republicans chose Palin, knowing these attacks would come causing Clinton supporters to come to "their side" to demonize the democrats as sexists, to create sympathy and adoration for Palin, to make the democrats seem petty, and what IF they are actually aiding covertly in the attacks on Palin to achieve their anticipated results?

This whole issue has Karl Rove written all over it. It is the GOP pushing our buttons again.
