If McCain dies in office, which will more than likely happen, we have a hockey mom president with VERY, VERY little knowledge of the Presidency or the Vice Presidency.

This sounds like pure speculation to me. If a blogger were to expose some scandalous information about Palin's family he or she would not become a pariah. Just the opposite would happen. This would actually make bloggers even more credible, make the MSM more suspect, and make the Republicans look completely incompetent, not to mention hippocritical.

This is perhaps the most cogent and plausible conspiracy theory that I've come across at ATS...

LOL man, oh man. This is a truly captivating story, but I see absolutely no basis in it whatsoever. You're making the McCain Campaign sound like a Clandestine Operation against the opposition. After Sarah Palin's acceptance speech at the RNC the other night, which gave forth to Ronald Reagan Comparisons, Palin has become the new Republican Beacon of Hope. There is no way in a Freezing Wasilla day in Hell that they are going to give her up after the Tsunami she just created.

say, speaking of trojan horses:

Marxists/Socialists/Communists for Obama

See if you can make sense of this, from the community blog on Barack Obama's official website entitled Marxists/Socialists/Communists for Obama

Marxists/Socialists/Communists for Obama

Oftentimes, liberals will offer you big government as the solution to a problem. On the other hand, conservatives will assert that less—much less—government is the sure fix. Ronald Reagan would have had you believe that government is inherently evil, that government is itself the problem. But neither of these approaches have solved much...

It's a relief to hear that Obama is not "a true Marxist." But then, they don't think Marxist states like North Korea and Cuba are Marxist either. All that's clear is that they're communists, can't spell, and support Obama.

I keep telling folks that Barack Hussein Obama is the Anti-Christ and no one is listening. His number is 666. It is the number of his name. He was born in KENYA, not in Hawaii. They won't let Arnold Swartzenegger become President because he was not born in America, so why let Obama when he was not either.

nonsense! McCain dumped her he would be seen as a total fool who did not vet her and who makes lousy choices...that would doom him. Even he is not that dumb. I think.

when I read this article couple days back I was pretty sceptic, but now the our newspaper in Belgium headlined again about Palin, as having had an affair with one of her husbands colleagues I'm starting to think there is something to it.. it IS more and more beginning to look like a smear campaign, I just have no idea who is doing the smudging..

OR the Obamites could just be making some wild guesses, stabs in the dark etc in hoping this happens for accident so they can say 'Look, look we said this would happen!'

thats what everyone says about every charismatic public figure everytime one pops up in our culture...

they said the same of gorbachev, yeltsin, saddam, gwb, sharon, clinton, etc...

all wrong, the events of revelations likely took place around the first century a.d.

humans determine their own destiny now, and have for centuries and will continue to do so.

so, instead of hoping for 'the end of the world' start making a difference before you go to heaven.

thats any human's highest purpose here.

Well put mister old school

Anyone with the good doctor as thier Avatar gets fair shake from me...

Your theroy isnt terrible...

And i have yet to comment on Palin..

So here it goes...

Personaly, i think they picked her to court the 10-25% of the pissed off Hildabeast supporters who REALY wanted to vote for a women... This Unthinking mass of poeple can EASLIY swing the election to McLame...

Other then that, i don't know a DAMMED thing about her...

Other then, shes a hottie...

AND SHE MOST DEFINALTY IS A HOTTIE...

She would probaly piss off our Islamo-Facist friends SO MUCH... They dispise women, and now, the US would have a women, a heart-beat, away from becoming the leader of the free world...

I find it sickening that every 'so-called' Conservitive talk show host is GUSHING of her... Calling her the next Ronald Regan..

She was Mayor of some back-Woods nothing town in Alaska, then Govanor for 2 years...

Shes just a baby...
She has about the same experience as Hussain...

ACK... who knows...

Good evening everyone. This is very well off-topic.
I have been a lurker on this site for a few years, and just this very year I have joined. Many of the topics have kept me glued to my computer from sun-up to sun-down. Everything from alien bases on the moon, to who killed Kennedy. these are the things that I enjoy reading so much about.
While I am one of those people who believe without doubt that aliens exist, that we are less than we realize, that there is more to the picture than many see. I have come to ask myself one nagging question about this site that I enjoy so much.
"Has there been any event or idea that was discussed on here that has been proven/disproven?"
I hope that no-one takes offence to my asking this question. Should I not recieve an answer, I will still be back on this site each night, just to pick my own curiousity.

shes gonna stay on the ticket. the republicans are gonna win. she has "rock star" status. the dems love taxing us and history cleary shows that. independents are gonna vote for the GOP ticket. they're not gonna trust a community organizer that spent his whole political career campaigning for president and the majority of the time unable to decide to vote yes or no on an issue.
Sarah Palin is young and appealing to the eye just as John F. Kennedy was ( and the whole reason why he won because it was the first presidential debate filmed on television so the public could get a visual appeal to the eye..blah blah blah). She is not as skilled an orator as Obama but possess humor with the down to earth tone of voice (hence the whole 'hockey mom") that many americans can and will relate to.
Even though this is a politically incorrect road I'm traveling through.. the fact of the matter is there is still racism in the United States and people won't vote for Obama for the sole purpose of being black. Also the majority of African American people in the United States are behind bars unable to vote and thats not slande or hateful reasoning, it's pure fact.
Palin is not going to back down no matter how much the media says bad things about her. If her history and success in life have proved anything she has persistence in all aspects of life and is a very straight, honest person. I trust her more as president than the community organizer that has not "led anything.... nothing.... nada."

This comes from a page ago as we compare across lines.
I don't think that cigarette smoking and coffee drinking makes for good leadership. If that is a factor. And how many drug dealers do you know? So I still think were going down the road evenly. I just think that given the public's record of voting and not receiving, "igloo ho'" won't be one of their complaints. I notice we are now delving into that area of moral ethics.

When are you people going to wake up and realize the false dichotomy that plays out every four years? The demoncrats and the republicons are the same people.

Hegelian dialect, anyone?

They falsely divide people over ANY issue: race, politics, you name it. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as it keeps you DISTRACTED, and NOT THINKING.

Sara Palin's selection as John McCain's VP running mate is intended to end badly within the next two to three weeks as part of a devious Republican strategy.

Hi Mr. Old School,

As an Alaskan I think you underestimate Sarah Palin, our governor! Probably you will agree soon.

Thanks for your thread!

a person's brain doesn't evacuate their head because they consume things that are presumably not good for them. if we get that nit picky, we might want to be sure they don't do or eat anything that's bad for them, breathe air that's bad for them, etc. by the time it's over with, our president would have to live in a hermetically-sealed einvironment on a paradise world, where you can't even accidentally do something that might hurt you. manipulation of public perception is just a game of whose manufacturing base is going to be on top.
