I have been checking the polls every night at about 11pm.

The sight below, is IMO, the BEST site for polling data I have ever come across.

The stats are updated everyday and is weighted / unweighed depending on events, conventions, VP picks etc...

It has a very large data pool and is completely non partisan----

like heaven for the statistical / political junky.

www.fivethirtyeight.com...

ANYHOW-

As I said I have been very diligent checking this when I am not arguing with you guys of course.

Obamas convention bounce was lower than historically commonplace per this website.

SO -

I have watched Obamas rating % rise dramatically in three states in the past two days...

Ohio - up 10% in two days O 51% - Mc 49%

Colorado - up 8% in two days O 62% - Mc 38%

Michigan - up 7 % in two days O 71% - Mc 29%

also Florida - up 4% in three days O 33% - Mc 66%

Now this is just what I have observed per this website...

It seems there has been a shift of some sort, but obviously its a long way from being over.

Obama's number will be officially up in November.

McCain is just drafting him now and will pass in the final lap for the victory.

You'll see.

You may be right, you may be right...

On another note did you see how cool that website is!

It is fricken awesome, history and current stats all on the same page.

Alright back to being called a terrorist loving liberal!

Thanks for the stats -- 10pts is indeed quite a bump. I don't think McCain will garner that kind of inertial push out of the convention, but we'll see.

As an aside, am I the only one who read this thread-title with the eyes of someone used to the automatic censors? As in:

"Wait -- what's he saying that Obama #'s up?"

The crazy thing is this was after his nominal convention bump faded. (which faded very fast)
