The security transfer in Iraq's Anbar province originally was set for June, but it has been delayed twice.

The first postponement was blamed on a sandstorm, but days before the ceremony was to take place, there was also a suicide bombing at a meeting of tribal sheikhs in an Anbar town west of Baghdad.

IMO this is an important development to watch in Iraq . My prediction is that local forces wont cope with the situation at hand . The security situation will deteriorate and US forces will have to move back into a full time combat role . Iraqi forces couldn't cope in the south of the country so I don't see how they will cope in Anbar .

The Iraqi army and security forces haven't been screened adequately from day one .
