I was really into Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and this song would stick in my head, especially this part for weeks

The scores from Squaresofts Chrono Trigger and final fantasy 7 still get me they suited the games so well and hearing them again reminds you why you liked them.

On a more recent note though the Radios on the GTA games are quite well done.

i personally liked the fire emblem themes, here are some examples;
fire emblem, sacred stones GBA

fire emblem, radiant dawn Wii

and, super smash brothers brawl Wii

and here is some gameplay, just so you know what this game is like, this is gameplay from radiant dawn, the Wii version, just so you know, the guy in black was long thought to be dead

best video game music ever, in my opinion

I have a few favorites in this...

"I Am The Wind" from the end credits of Castlevania: SotN. It was the first Video game tune to make me cry.

"Snake Eater" from MGS 3

The music that plays over the end credits of Phantasy Star IV.

The Marble Zone music from Sonic 1.

The entire soundtrack of God of War.
