Two foreign women have been jailed for a month for kissing and fondling each other and engaging in "indecent acts" on a public beach in Dubai, media reports says.

The Dubai Court of Appeal upheld the one-month jail sentence handed down by a lower court to the women, a 30-year-old Lebanese national and a 36-year-old Bulgarian who both pleaded not guilty, 7Days newspaper said

Yeah i'm fed up with this nonsense as well.

These women should learn the rules of a country before they break the law.
A female from Britain has also been charged with the same offence in the past although she hasn't gone to trial yet I believe,

I have visited Dubai several times & if you abide by the laws of the country it is a very welcoming place.

It seems to me that the issue is not that these women failed to obey the local laws. The issue is that the local laws are a disgrace.

If the Nazi's had oil, we would still be buying from them, too.

Yeah I'm sick of the double standards that Muslim nations employ too.
