Mysterious Sky Phenomenon Observed Off The Central East Coast Of Florida

At around 7:00-7:30pm, August 26, 2008, a Florida family observed a mysterious phenomenon in the Florida sky near the central east coast city of Holy Hill, Florida.

I thought this story (with pics) might interest some folks.

I've seen some strange things in the sky, but this I wish I could have seen first hand.

Don't know what caused it. Maybe refraction off some cloud way up in the sky with ice particles, and the sun hit it just so?

if not a fake, this would be really strange.. but for a reason i believe it was photoshoped, but i could be wrong. If real- this would look like a ripp into an alternative reality!
